New Taipei Onsens

I came to the public bath on a weekday and it's so quiet and nice. On the day I visited, only Taiwanese people were in the baths. The staff are very friendly... The receptionists speak excellent English, and when I wasn't sure where to go in the bath area, a staff member came over and used a translator to guide me. They were truly kind. I was a bit worried after reading other reviews, but it was really great. For those using the public bath, just show your Klook voucher at reception, get your key, go down the stairs, and the women's bath is on the left and the men's bath is on the right (written in Korean). You can enter accordingly. Like a Korean sauna, you put your shoes in the locker corresponding to your key number, come in, undress in a locker, put on a gown and a hair cap, then come to the public bath area, shower, and then enter the bath. They asked us to remove our makeup before entering if we were wearing any! (Let's be polite Koreans and follow this rule, haha.) But honestly, there's no need to wear makeup when going to a hot spring. Cell phones are prohibited inside the bath! You can use them in the resting area. And the water is super soft, it feels like it's good for your skin.

This place is actually very nice. As soon as you go inside, you can actually smell the cypress and it really is calming. And as soon as you go inside, you do have to pour in the water, but the time does start as soon as you check in at the front gate. So, I would suggest that you go in and fill up the tub as soon as you go inside.

It’s an amazing experience of an authentic hot spring. It was more than a hot spring, feels like submerging in their culture.

The environment is very tranquil, the staff is extremely polite and helpful, and the meals are both healthy and delicious. There is also a reading room available for rest and relaxation. The bathroom features a separate shower area and is very comfortable. Overall, the experience was exceptionally warm and welcoming.

September 5, 2026. This is a family-style hot spring inn, so it's not recommended for those with high expectations! The hot spring water is very comfortable and leaves your skin feeling smooth. Basic amenities are provided. The couple's set meal was delicious and very filling. There aren't many parking spaces directly in front, but there are parking spots available nearby.

This hot spring experience was fantastic! The interior of the hot spring cabin was spotlessly clean. Whether it was the tub, the floor, or the lounge area, there was not a trace of stickiness, and the amenities were arranged in a neat and orderly fashion. The service staff were professional and polite from reception to guidance, making us feel right at home. The clean and comfortable environment made the soak truly relaxing and worry-free!

The double hot spring room is quite spacious and even has a waterproof storage cabinet, which is very thoughtful for items you don't want to get wet. Soaking in a hot spring can get quite warm, but the room here has air conditioning, making the overall experience very comfortable. Outside, there's a public area with hair dryers and cotton swabs available. Overall, I feel it offers great value.

The facilities, though a bit older, are meticulously cleaned and don't appear worn out. The view is excellent, offering a distant sight of Jinshan and even the ocean. In addition to soaking in the hot springs and relaxing, you can also enjoy a cup of tea. The entire experience is incredibly stress-relieving and pleasant.
