Yehliu, Yin & Yang Sea, Shifen, and Jiufen Tour (With Hotel Pick-Up)

For the price of a massive bus tour, we got a 5-person small group. It saved us so much waiting time and we loved meeting new people! We covered so much in one day: Yehliu Geopark (plus the cheapest souvenir shop!), Yin Yang Sea, Golden Waterfall, Jiufen Old Street, Shifen Waterfall, and sky lanterns at Shifen Old Street. A huge shoutout to our guide/driver, Kevin! He was incredibly patient and accommodating, which was perfect since I was traveling with a senior citizen. He even went out of his way to take our photos. It was a hot and tiring day, but New Taipei is amazing! Hotel pick-up was super convenient. At drop-off, Kevin didn't know our hotel (Hotel 6 - Wannien at Wan Nian Building) had car access and dropped us at the nearest station. It was totally okay though—we enjoyed walking the street afterwards and got boba! Highly recommend booking this if you want to see a lot of spots comfortably!

The itinerary is well-planned and allows you to visit many attractions in a short amount of time, making it perfect for first-time visitors to Taiwan who want to see a lot. Along the way, you can enjoy diverse natural landscapes and get a glimpse into local life and customs. The scenery is truly stunning; both the mountain and ocean views are beautiful and make for great photos. 👍 Our driver, Master Wang, was very kind, enthusiastic, and patient. He proactively shared many local stories, customs, and insights into daily life, which added a personal touch and made the trip much more engaging than just sightseeing. This itinerary is fast-paced, with tight scheduling. If you prefer to explore slowly and examine each place in detail, it might feel a bit rushed. It's best suited for those who don't mind a quick pace and want to efficiently see many sights.

Our driver, Ray, not only took us to tour Jiufen and Shifen, but also patiently introduced us to the local history and culture, and recommended many delicious local foods, making the entire trip much richer and more interesting. The whole itinerary was very comfortable, not rushed, and the pace was just right. The car was also very clean and comfortable, and the driver's service was very attentive. The overall experience was fantastic, highly recommended! We will definitely come again if we have the chance!

We had an amazing time on the Yehliu, Shifen, and Jiufen day tour! The rock formations at Yehliu Geopark are absolutely stunning and unlike anything I’ve seen before—perfect for photos. The itinerary was well-paced, giving us enough time to explore the unique landscapes and enjoy the coastal views. Shifen and Jiufen were equally magical. It was a very convenient and hassle-free way to see these iconic spots in one day. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Taiwan!

Our North coast Taiwan Carpool Tour was convenient and worth every penny. Our driver Chun Wei was very easy to communicate with. He messaged our group along with the other people in our carpool tour the important details (i.e., time, itinerary, things to bring, entrance fees, etc.) days before the actual tour. He offered to take our pictures even if it was supposed to be a self-guided tour. He also agreed to drop us off to a night market on our way home. The whole ride was smooth, comfortable (free water and tissue was provided) and the van was clean and cool. I highly recommend this tour if you prefer a more private tour as compared to joining a bus tour.

Joining this carpooling tour to Yehliu, Shifen and Jiufen turned out to be one of the most enjoyable travel experiences I’ve had. The price was much more affordable than booking a private transfer. Shoutout to our driver - Mr. Wang Qisong 🫶He was punctual, friendly, and kept the ride comfortable. He even gave us a cute mini lantern as souvenir! 😍 The best part was chatting with the other passengers—fellow travelers from different countries—so the journey felt more like a social experience than just transportation.

I’m very satisfied with this service. The direct hotel pickup and dropoff was convenient. We had enough time per stop and was comfortable during the entire day tour. My friend and I didn’t speak Chinese but we were able to enjoy our time. Having a translator app also helped to communicate better with the driver. I highly recommend booking this package if you want to have more time in the destinations, especially since the crowd volume may differ.

I chose this specifically cos it was pure carpooling and without a tour guide. Turned out i was right - yehliu, jiufen and shifen are easily walkable and enjoyed even without someone to lead you around. Time given was also sufficient for all 3 places, as long as everyone came back to the car on time. Driver spoke purely in Mandarin but wasn't an issue for us. Go for this if you want to hang on your own without worrying abt transport. Hope the company can arrange for one with evening carpool to jiufen to enjoy night scenery. 😀

The scenery at Yehliu is very unique, and the seaside rock formations are spectacular; it's definitely worth a visit. Jiufen Old Street has a great atmosphere, with lots of snacks and beautiful lanterns. Shifen Waterfall is magnificent, the air is fresh, and it's very pleasant to walk around and explore. At Shifen Old Street, you can release sky lanterns on the train tracks, which is a very special and memorable experience. Thank you to our driver for all the arrangements and care throughout the trip, which made our journey smooth and enjoyable.
