Volando Urai Spring Spa & Resort in New Taipei

I visited during the Lunar New Year and there weren't many people and it was sooooo nice!! The view was crazyㅠㅠ I'll never forget the jade-colored river I saw from inside the bath.. I was so entranced looking at the Wulai River from the open-air hot spring that I wanted to jump inㅎㅎ The water was so smooth that my skin felt so smooth in a short period of time!! I was worried because there were no pictures of the public hot springs,, but don't worry and just go! I totally recommend it👍👍👍👍

I tried the 2-person hot spring and the public bath. Personally, I recommend the public bath unless you are a couple. There is no time limit, and there are various baths including wet and dry saunas, open-air hot springs, and bubble beds, so I didn't realize how much time had passed. I bought a package that included dinner, and it was a great choice. The food was high-quality and delicious. My mother, who is picky about food, said it was delicious. Next time, I should stay at a hotel. I'm very satisfied.

Taiwan can get quite chilly in the winter, and it's so nice to soak in a hot spring when you're traveling and feeling cold. The scenery is beautiful too. They were considerate enough to let us in 10 minutes early because we had kids, and up to two children can enter for free (height restrictions apply).

I recommend using the public bath rather than the private spa. The public bath outdoor hot spring is incomparably overwhelming when considering the view, openness, space, etc. There is a dry and wet sauna inside, but it was a bit lukewarm. There is a cold bath and a hot bath inside, but I used the outdoor hot spring mainly. I visited on a weekday afternoon, and there was only one group other than our group in the public bath, so we were able to enjoy the spa very comfortably. Highly recommended!

The hotel is really well-equipped, clean, and luxurious! It feels like you've come to completely relax from the moment you enter the entrance! If you've made a reservation for the large public bath, just bring your voucher. There's a 4-hour limit, but it's plenty of time to take a bath! I took the first shuttle bus from Xindian Station at 9:30 in the morning, and it was good that I came early in the morning. It was almost a large public bath, but it was just a private bath. It was a weekday, but as time passed in the afternoon, people started coming in. I definitely recommend coming early!! The large public bath had 2 small cold baths, 1 hot bath, 1 indoor hot bath, 1 outdoor hot bath, and a sauna (dry, wet), so it was really great. The view was crazy, and the view from the outdoor bath was really good. It's probably the best hot spring in my life. I highly recommend it!! If you're a couple or not, you really have to go to the large public bath. In addition to the large bath, there's also a space where you can relax on an indoor sunbed while looking at the view :)

This place is the best... I used the public bathhouse with my friend and it was so relaxing, the open-air bath was amazing, and the facilities were really clean. The staff were so friendly🫶🏻🩷 Apply for the shuttle by email and take it. It's very convenient~

I purchased a package deal for the public bath and dinner. The public bath was just okay, a bit old, but the dinner was highly recommended. Each dish was delicious. I bought the package on the spot, thinking it would be full and there wouldn't be any space, but surprisingly, we were the only two people in the restaurant, like we had the whole place to ourselves! It was such a great deal. I've never experienced having a restaurant all to myself before, highly recommended.

I came to the public bath on a weekday and it's so quiet and nice. On the day I visited, only Taiwanese people were in the baths. The staff are very friendly... The receptionists speak excellent English, and when I wasn't sure where to go in the bath area, a staff member came over and used a translator to guide me. They were truly kind. I was a bit worried after reading other reviews, but it was really great. For those using the public bath, just show your Klook voucher at reception, get your key, go down the stairs, and the women's bath is on the left and the men's bath is on the right (written in Korean). You can enter accordingly. Like a Korean sauna, you put your shoes in the locker corresponding to your key number, come in, undress in a locker, put on a gown and a hair cap, then come to the public bath area, shower, and then enter the bath. They asked us to remove our makeup before entering if we were wearing any! (Let's be polite Koreans and follow this rule, haha.) But honestly, there's no need to wear makeup when going to a hot spring. Cell phones are prohibited inside the bath! You can use them in the resting area. And the water is super soft, it feels like it's good for your skin.

This time through klook, I want to experience the famous Fulanduo Wulai and help my family celebrate their birthday. The following analysis is purely personal experience for reference: 1. Time: I only have one hour to go to the hot spring on holidays, which is really a rush. I only soaked for about half an hour before getting up and washing my hair. Otherwise, my long hair would not be dry at all. Second, the food: The beef is different from what I expected. For a meal that costs more than 1,000 yuan, the beef feels like it is braised in a big pot... It has a cheap feel, while other appetizers or desserts are pretty good. Third, service: Because the first time I went there, I took the shuttle bus and got off at the door of the hotel. But I didn’t know it at the time. When I walked into the lobby to rest, I felt like I was being chased out by the door staff. In fact, he could Just tell me that the reception counter for bathing is on the other side, because I keep being chased away. In fact, the guests have feelings and will feel confused. The most commendable things here are the scenery and the books. You can pick up the books and read them while waiting for the soup house. The conclusion is that I will not come back again.

Such a relaxing place. Highly recommended for those going on a day trip in Wulai. It was such a relaxing way to end our Wulai trip. Volando is a beautiful place offering complimentary snacks and drinks for guests. We also availed their shuttle going back to the MTR station for additional 50NTD and it was worth it. The ride was smooth, comfortable and fast.
