Christchurch

The environment is beautiful, and the alpacas are well cared for. I booked the tour in Mandarin, and the staff was very enthusiastic and funny, and also offered to take pictures. The whole tour, from the explanation to taking pictures with the alpacas and feeding them, is followed by a choice of coffee, tea, or juice, along with a cookie. The whole experience takes about an hour. Because it's popular, you can't wander around after the tour; they need to prepare for the next group of visitors! Although it's not long, it's definitely worth it. The alpacas don't smell at all, and they're very friendly and super cute.

The whole tour was amazing, although the itinerary was a bit hectic. Except for Mt. Cook, the other stops were quite short — just enough time to snap a few photos before moving on to the next spot. It’s understandable since the destinations are quite far from Christchurch. They also provided free lunch and snacks (chips), which was a nice touch

Redemption process is very fast, almost immediately after booking i can exchange the tickets at the main ticket counter. interval of the tram were also fast. the live commentary was good, allow us to learn about christchurch’s history.

A good way to move from Christchurch to Queenstown. Cal, our tour guide, was very nice and have some interesting commentaries along the way.

Just finished the Arthur’s Pass tour with Clive as our guide (hope I got the name right). Clive is a fantastic guide. He made sure we had enough time to explore, rest, and take pictures at every stop along the way. He provided very informative commentary during the trip and even led the way and showed us to the Cave Stream. Thank you, Clive, for the kind hospitality and for always trying your best to accommodate the passengers’ needs. Will definitely book another trip with Cheeky Kea next time I visit NZ!

I joined this trip on May 10, 2025. It was very windy and sunny that day. In the morning, I went to the nearby shuttle hotel to gather. The car was on time. The small episode was that I went to the wrong place to wait at the back door of the hotel. The car was at the front door of the hotel. The tour guide also ran to find me, which was very considerate. I was a little embarrassed to let others wait for me for a few minutes. The attractions along the way are very beautiful, and the tour guide explained the stories related to the filming and shooting of the Lord of the Rings very professionally. He also showed friendliness and concern to everyone, and any questions could be responded to, which made me more impressed with this trip. Especially after walking to the commanding heights on the scene, it was particularly shocking to overlook everything and feel the shooting scene of Edoras. It was amazing how nature could create such amazing scenery, and how the filming team could find this scenery under the technological and traffic conditions at the time. It was also amazing. Photos are far inferior to seeing it with your own eyes. I highly recommend everyone to go to the scene to experience it in person~

Convenient and fast, just scan the certificate. The tour guide is attentive and it's like chatting. We were five minutes late that day due to parking, but she still waited for us to arrive before departing. Very good, great experience!

Hotel location: Above and beyond, can reach the town centre within 10 mins by walk. Cleanliness: Very good Service: Perfect, all staffs are helpful. The only issue during my was the expensive gym access.
