I joined a mixed group tour alone this time. Everyone, including myself, was from Singapore and I was with a Singaporean, a Chinese couple, and a Korean family. I was contacted about the pick-up time via WhatsApp in advance, and the communication was prompt upon arrival, so everything went smoothly. The guide and driver spoke easy-to-understand English and kept us informed of the time required for each part of the itinerary, so I felt at ease. It was a pity that the weather wasn't good enough to see the shape of Mount Kinabalu, but I was able to fully enjoy nature at Poring Hot Springs, the Rafflesia Garden, and Desa Farm. The yogurt gelato at Desa Farm and the BBQ pork on the way back were both exquisite and worth trying. Lunch was also Chinese food with flavors familiar to Japanese people. Since you will be traveling on mountain roads in a large van, it is essential to take measures against motion sickness in advance. (They were considerate enough to let me sit in the front of the van when I requested it.) It cost an additional RM80 in total for admission to Poring Hot Springs and the Rafflesia Garden, but considering the distance traveled and the tour content, it was reasonably priced, and overall a highly recommended tour.

We booked a private tour and had such a great time visiting Pekan Nabalu, Tamparuli Bridge, and Desa Dairy Farm in Kundasang. The ride was super comfortable and pleasant. We skipped the National Park since we were traveling with our elderly mom, but still had an amazing day. At Pekan Nabalu, we were lucky to catch a clear view of Mount Kinabalu — sometimes it’s hidden behind clouds! It’s also a nice spot to grab some souvenirs. Tamparuli Bridge might just be a suspension bridge, but the view and the local legend make it worth a stop. Our last stop at Desa Dairy Farm was beautiful — loved the cool breeze, hillside views, and getting to feed the calves and goats. Our guide, Vincent, was soft-spoken, informative, and super helpful. We really enjoyed his company. Highly recommended!

20th June 2025, family and I having this trip, overall is enjoyable especially having tour guide Jeff who is a biophilic person. We are the only group thus able to go with our own pace. The weather was bad in the week we arrived kota kinabalu, so Jeff proposed to switch the sequence of Kinabalu Park and Poring Hot Spring as hot spring there is small hiking part where not suitable for raining. The morning started with sunny day and we managed to enjoy the small hiking with hot spring. Lunch we took opposite hot spring, malay restaurant with chinese style cooking, personally not use to the taste. The weather turned bad when visiting Desa farm. When arrived Kinabalu park(last point), it is raining, we had a short stay here. Probably will visit Kinabalu park if here again. For rafflesia it is not included, but Jeff managed to find one for us to visit. Before trip, Jeff did informed us some entrance fees will be needed, including the rafflesia. It's my first time in Kota Kinabalu, and a friend recommended visiting Mount Kinabalu. I saw that Fubon Bank had a discount of 120, so I bought it after arriving in Kota Kinabalu, which was very convenient (you only need to purchase it 24 hours before departure). The day before departure, the tour guide will send reminders via WhatsApp about things to note, such as umbrellas, jackets, mosquito repellent, etc., which is super thoughtful. ???????? On the day of departure, we waited in the hotel lobby at 7:00 AM, and they picked us up to set off together. There were 6 people in the group (all ladies), and the tour guide was very attentive ????????. It rained heavily this morning, and I was worried that it would affect the trip. Fortunately, the weather cleared up almost when we arrived at the first attraction, and we could experience the local culture. It was awesome. The guide drove super well, getting us there in an hour and a half when it should have been a two-hour drive. If you want a special trip in Kota Kinabalu, I'd recommend it.

Highly recommended as this ATV sports is a new experience for me. All the safety guard, helmet are well provided. The person in charge was well verse with knowledge. The tour guide was also good as they will stop and given us ample time for a short photo session. Will come again.

thankful for the great weather, good instructors that speak English and put safety as the number 1 priority. they also asked me to come early to avoid potential bad weather. do note there is a mandatory 40rm insurance that must be paid by cash. the view is insane and totally recommended, not scary at all. highly recommend for everyone who is visiting kk

the tour company borneo calling was so organised ! the point of person Mei, gave timely updates and checks to ensure that everything goes smoothly! on the day we arrived at the kinabalu lodges, the check in was smooth, rooms were very clean ! on the day of the hike, we were introduced to our mountain guide: Sofian. He was so nice and encouraging during our hike up and as well on the way down. We can see that safety was the number one priority during the whole hike. the weather was not the best. there was heavy rain on the first day as we hiked up to panalaban and it was told that if the weather remains rainy, the hike to the peak may be cancelled. Luckily however, the rain cleared but it remained cloudy at the top. it was often also explained to look out for signs and symptoms of altitude sickness which was very important. The hike up to Low's peak is tough however worth it. highly recommend! still not an easy hike
