Things to do in Guilin

A very beautiful show. Lots of performers and wonderful lights. A pleasant and different evening in Yangshuo.

We booked the english speaking tour and our driver Mok was amazing! We had a great day and enjoyed all the activities, especially the bamboo rafting (we did get wet though so bring a spare pair of pants!). Mok told us about the local culture and history, he took great care of us and is also a great driver. Thank you for an amazing day trip!

We very much enjoyed two nights, three days customized tour in Guiling and Yangshou. The places and timing were up to our need and expectations. I highly recommend this tour as we had a great experience from the planning, to meeting and greetings, accommodation quality and cruise comfort. The driver was professional and timely. the best highlight of our trip is having our amazing tour guide Louna! She is very friendly, and explained a lot about the places, the culture and history in very good English language 😊 She helped a lot in recommending great restaurants both in Guilin, Yangshou and the Huanglo village. she was always taking care of us, providing drinking water, bathroom breaks, and rain coats as neede and she was always waiting for us. In addition to the amazing 4 hours Li River cruise, we enjoyed the Elephant trunk hill, the reed flute cave, the silver cave, the moon hill view, the long hair show, the Impression Sanjie Lui show, the Longji rice terrace and many more!!

I purchased this tour through the platform. The price includes a cruise, buffet lunch, and transfer. Instructions are sent one day before the trip. I couldn't get in touch immediately via WeChat, so I had to write on WhatsApp first. We agreed on a starting point for the transfer from Guilin - it turned out to be a 5-minute walk from my hotel. The river station is located outside Guilin; we were driven there in 1 hour. On the spot, I received my ticket for a 4-star ship. I missed the breakfast at the port, so I can't say anything about it. The ship itself is luxurious. For the first 2-2.5 hours, everyone is on deck taking pictures of the karst hills. Then, at 12:30, lunch begins. The food is delicious and varied. I would like to note the availability of french fries and breaded chicken. Unlimited tea is also served. The staff is polite and willing to help, and even speaks a little English. In conclusion: the cruise is amazing, but it will be cheaper through agencies. The price of my ticket differed by 1.5 times from the cost in agencies.

We ordered online as we do not have much time. Tour agent will contact 1 day before cruise date, best to have wechat. Be aware that not all hotels will be available for direct pick up, I had to walk around 5 minutes to pick up point. A bus will take you to the pier. Tour guide was helpful. Boat journey comfortable with lunch and snacks + tea provided. The entire tour is in Chinese language. Good to experience this cruise at least once.

Reviewww: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Beautiful cave with splendid lightings. There are some steps you beed to clib before reaching the entrance. Inside the cave steps r there as well and lot of walking, but worth it.

Great experience! The guide didn't speak English but contacted me the day before to let me know about the hotel pick-up. The tour was true to the description, only the group preferred to go to the rice fields by van rather than by cable car, which meant a small extra charge. I recommend it!

Peak with a wonderful panorama, but not quite 5 stars in my opinion. It lacks a bit of the sense of wonder that other mountains in the area have, like Laozaishan or Xianggong. Still, it's a very pleasant experience overall.
