Li River 6-Hour Small Group Cruise with Lunch

It was a very successful trip. An experience that I recommend with all confidence. The guide was very professional, punctual, polite and handled a translation app very well. An unforgettable day.

I recently booked a Guilin Li River , and it turned out to be the highlight of my trip to China! From the moment I boarded the boat, I was blown away by the breathtaking scenery—limestone karsts rising steeply from the misty, emerald-green water, with fishermen casting nets on bamboo rafts drifting by. It felt like sailing straight into a traditional Chinese painting

what a great way to get from Guilin to Yangshao meandering through the beautiful Li River. The cruise felt luxurious wi the comfortable seats and attentive service. They have a couple outdoor decks available so you take photos and gaze at the peaks. I don’t speak Chinese so I couldn’t understand the guide but the other locals seem to enjoy it. Lunch was a good spread of hot food items. The only things that didn’t satisfy my expectations was the conditions of the washrooms and the steps getting off the boat which was unexpected. We had a fair amount of luggage as we were travelling from one city to the next so climbing the steep steps with large luggage wasn’t ideal. Knowing in advance, we might of sent our luggage ahead of us with delivery service.

Everything was very well organized.

ticket prices on site was 360 Yuan (52USD), compared to 96USD I booked on Klook, almost double the price. Driver and guide does not speak English even though it was mentioned as part of the tour package. driver pick up starts from 8am, and the official cruise tour departs at 10am. supposed to be until 2pm but it ended early at 1.30pm, the total tour duration is essentially 3.5hrs only. the buffet food runs out before the first queue ends. the scenery is fine. the cruise is technically a 3-star boat but with buffet.
