Denim Jeans Making Workshop in Tokyo

The crew at Daruma Jeans was super friendly and made everyone feel right at home. I was able to make my own jeans with selected rivets and patch. These are my first raw jeans, so I didn't have them embroidered, but I'll definitely do that for the next pair. If you're in town for work or trip, it's a great place to pick up a souvenir.

really great all around! employees were fun to be around and vibes were great. only thing that dampened the experience was not having the most common sizes so we had to size way up 4 sizes too big, then the rivets and patches and material added another $200+ on top of the original Klook price.

Such a great experience and a wonderful staff. The location was easy to find as it is right across the street from Harajuku station. Explanation of the jeans and types available along with a bit of the manufacturing was an added bonus. They were very patient with my choices and the details that I wanted on my jeans. The team explained clearly at each step what to do and graciously helped when I made an error with one of my rivets. Keep in mind that embroidery will take time and not a same day event. Check ahead of time or adjust your schedule if you would like embroidery. I will definitely recommend to friends. A great souvenir!

I loved doing this! Definitely worth the money. We had more creative freedom than expected coming into here! They help you decide jean size, hemming, and colors. This was sooo much fun would highly recommend. Customer service made this experience worth it.

This is an amazing experience that I would highly reccomend. They provide very good assistance when helping to select your jeans ans also when riveting + adding buttons to your jeans. The selection of of rivets, buttons and embroideries, really let yoy be creative. I would personally thank Theresa for making this such a great experience.

Plus, I personalized them with embroidery, resulting in a pair of custom jeans I couldn't be happier with. This might be my favorite and most memorable purchase ever in Japan!
