- Itinerary Introduction -
- Cherry Blossom Viewing on the Sumida River on a Yakatabune Take a Yakatabune and slowly sail along the Sumida River to enjoy the charming scenery of cherry blossoms blooming on both sides of the river, and overlook the magnificent view of cherry blossoms and Tokyo Skytree in the distance. In addition, the beautiful and distinctive bridges on the Sumida River are also a must-see feature of Tokyo tourism. This spring-only visual feast will leave you with unforgettable memories.
- Cherry Blossom Viewing at Chidorigafuchi Chidorigafuchi has a 700-meter-long trail with about 260 cherry trees in full bloom along the way, forming an enchanting pink cherry blossom tunnel. The cherry blossom trees beside the moat of the Imperial Palace are majestic and contrast beautifully with the water of the moat, creating a scene like a fairyland on earth. During the flower season every year, Chidorigafuchi attracts a large number of domestic and foreign tourists and is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Tokyo that cannot be missed.
- Yasukuni Shrine Taking the 150th anniversary of its founding as an opportunity, Yasukuni Shrine has become one of the focuses of cherry blossom viewing this year. There are about 5 million cherry trees in the shrine, and Tokyo’s cherry blossom declaration is also based on the specimen trees here. In addition to admiring the cherry blossoms, you can also get a special Sakura Goshuincho (limited quantities), and you might even be lucky enough to see the white doves, a symbol of peace, flying in the air. Feeling the romance of spring in a place with a strong historical atmosphere is a baptism of body, mind and soul.
- Meguro River Night Cherry Blossom Festival Meguro River is as famous as Ueno Park and Chidorigafuchi, and is also the first choice for cherry blossom viewing for first-time visitors to Tokyo! In addition, the “Meguro River Sakura Festival” held every year in Meguro River allows you to stroll under the cherry trees, drink beer, eat snacks, and enjoy the spring atmosphere. It’s super romantic!

Reviews
good tour for the parents. they enjoyed sightseeing especially the meguro river!! love that the guide was accomodating.
I realized on my way there the tour guide was in Japanese and not English so we decided to do it on our own.
Met tour guide at specific location. Assigned seating and took bus to the shrine where we were free to walk around and sight see. Basically a self guided tour, exactly what it describes. We went mid March in the afternoon and the trees were not in full bloom, there were a few flowering. Was able to see the shrine, take a walk along the river (Chidorigafuchi) then met back at bus to take us to SHIBUYA. We decided to depart the tour and stay at shibuya area instead of taking bus back to the meeting place. For affordable price it was a good experience if you like to go off on your own and take pictures.
was good and basic nothing to exciting but was very beautiful looking at the cherry blossom trees and wasn’t too busy.
beautiful half day tour! discovered some nice places with Sakura bloom in Tokyo :) Will come back soon next year
We wanted more information of the places we visited. Though it was raining the whole time, ending it at Meguro River was the best for me. The guide and the driver were anazing people.
im happy that our guide is so accommodating vgood thanks much
I got lost and missed the arrival window for the meetup. That's my bad. I know I can't get my money back, whatever. What I didn't know was that after 90 mins of searching for them at the first location so I could at least try to catch the last two stops, asking half a dozen strangers for help, and somehow getting ahold of my actual tour guide, I would be told my voucher was cancelled (no refund) and I could NOT join them partway. Which I think sucks. And so did one of the nice ladies who helped me. But that's just us.
Do not pay for this tour! We barely got any historical information about the locations we visited from our tour guide, and everything is self-guided. Also, the boat ticket is only 2500 yen (for an adult) if you buy it yourself. And the picture of the boat in the advertisement is not the boat you will get on. The boat is old and if you're not first in line you won't get a good seat. Also, while on the boat there's no historical information about what you're seeing or a guide at all to tell you what you're passing by. You are essentially paying 5500 yen for a taxi throughout the day, between locations that take 5-15minutes to between via the train. Also, it's cheaper to take yourself to the locations by train. I was completely disappointed and got nothing out of it. My tour guide was nice though.
so the picture on the website is definitely confusing cause I did not see that on this sumida tour . Ueno park did not disappoint though.
