If you're looking for clean, comfortable, and feature-packed accommodation that sits squarely between a luxury hostel and a budget hotel, the Space Hotel is your stop. It’s an ideal hub for exploring the Melbourne CBD without blowing your budget. Located right on Russell Street, the access to Melbourne Central, Queen Victoria Market, and the free tram zone is unbeatable. The facilities are what truly elevate this place: • The Rooftop Deck: Absolutely the highlight! Amazing 270-degree views of the city skyline, perfect for having a drink or just chilling. • Communal Areas: The huge communal kitchen is spotless and well-equipped. They also have a movie cinema room, a gym, and a jacuzzi, which is unheard of at this price point. • Security: Key-card access to rooms and floors made me feel secure. The only small drawback is that they charge a fee for luggage storage if you arrive early or check out late, which many hostels offer for free.

1. Location: Proximity to Melbourne Central public transport, Coles Woolworth and restaurants. 2. Cleanliness: Overall the rooms are clean, bathrooms, and common areas. 3. Amenities: They have Wi-Fi, got free breakfast on Sunday, gym, and you can use kitchen facilities. 4. Staff are Friendly and helpful. 5. Value for Money given the location. 6. Got upgraded from 4female dorm to 2female dorm. 8. I feel safe as female solo traveler. thank you space hotel

This hostel is a great choice for solo travelers and pretty social to make new friends. It offers a convenient location near Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne Museum, and the city. The rooms and facilities are clean and spacious. The rooftop view is stunning, and I really enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen space (although it can get busy during dinner time). I will definitely come back!
