Great place to stayed in. Able to see Mount Fuji directly from the place. There is a bathtub provided which we use during our stay in the night for hot tub (like public bath). Host is very friendly and helpful. There’s a bike rental nearby, around 8mins walk.

We stayed at Lakeland Hotel Mizunosato for two nights and had a wonderful experience overall.
For the second night, we booked a Japanese-style room with a private open-air bath and onsen facing Mt. Fuji, and it was absolutely amazing. After hiking Mt. Fuji that day, soaking in the private onsen with a stunning view of the mountain was the perfect way to relax. The futon beds were surprisingly comfortable, and we also booked dinner and breakfast to complete the experience. The traditional kaiseki dinner and Japanese breakfast were beautifully presented and very enjoyable.
The hotel provides free sheltered parking, but note that there is a tourist tax of 150 yen per person per night, and they prefer cash for payment. Overall, the stay was quiet, peaceful, and a great choice if you want an onsen experience with incredible Mt. Fuji views. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Kawaguchiko area.

the hotel offers cheap rooms at strategic location and with breakfast! the room was small but just enough for 2 of us. the breakfast was simple but delicious enough. we fully utilized the extra services such as luggage storage lockers, and free shuttle bus service between hotel to Kawaguchiko Station and Otsuki Station (we were the only 2 guests using this bus on that day). Located near Ogino and just behind the famous restaurant for Hoto.
