Great place to stayed in. Able to see Mount Fuji directly from the place. There is a bathtub provided which we use during our stay in the night for hot tub (like public bath). Host is very friendly and helpful. There’s a bike rental nearby, around 8mins walk.

its a nice hotel with spacious room, nice onsen. but the staff here cant communicate well in english. and i was unlucky that during my check out day yamanakako has road closure due to accumulated snow and no one is able to assist in providing latest information or what i can do next

hotel staff are enthusiastic and willing to help you when you reach. Japanese style room is nice with Mount Fuji view. breakfast is traditional Japanese breakfast and is nice. definitely recommend to stay there

We stayed at Lakeland Hotel Mizunosato for two nights and had a wonderful experience overall.
For the second night, we booked a Japanese-style room with a private open-air bath and onsen facing Mt. Fuji, and it was absolutely amazing. After hiking Mt. Fuji that day, soaking in the private onsen with a stunning view of the mountain was the perfect way to relax. The futon beds were surprisingly comfortable, and we also booked dinner and breakfast to complete the experience. The traditional kaiseki dinner and Japanese breakfast were beautifully presented and very enjoyable.
The hotel provides free sheltered parking, but note that there is a tourist tax of 150 yen per person per night, and they prefer cash for payment. Overall, the stay was quiet, peaceful, and a great choice if you want an onsen experience with incredible Mt. Fuji views. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Kawaguchiko area.
