Things to do in Koh Lanta

Best event I had in Thailand. About 3 hrs session and u are taught on how to cook for 4 dishes. you’ll have your lunch there as well. the chef is friendly, knowledgeable, and comedic. the session was engaging and rewarding. Will definitely come again in the near future.

The facilities are very nice, and the therapists are skillful. The building itself is very clean and up-to-date.

We visited on a Wednesday and there were hardly any other visitors to the park, except for a couple of school groups (not big groups though). There are a number of rides under shelter and the main height restriction is 130cm. Above 130cm, children can take most of the rides (only a couple are 140cm). There were a number of food options in/out of the park too (re-entry allowed). Within the park, you can get a stored value card (cash card) that you top up with cash to use for the food stalls. Water park was great too - wave pool generates tiny waves. Although some of the rides look old, it didn’t feel unsafe at all. If you need a transfer, do book at least 2 days in advance as the option disappears with 1 day to go.

price: worth the price. rides + water park + lunch buffet 💖 queue times: we went on a weekday so there's not a lot of people

The most impressive thing here is that there's both a water park and a dry park, and neither of them are just thrown together; they're both genuinely a lot of fun! The only downside is probably that it's incredibly sunny. My favorite part of the water park was the wave pool, where the depth at the very back exceeds 180 cm (about 5 feet 11 inches). The super-tall waterslide was even more extreme; I was so dizzy after sliding down that my heart almost flew out of my chest! Ironically, the coolest and most comfortable place in the entire park was the children's play area, which was quite amusing. Also, a reminder for anyone planning to use a locker: remember to exchange for coins beforehand, otherwise, you might feel a bit flustled when you get there. But what surprised me the most and what I want to praise the most this time was the "International Buffet Dinner"! It was unbelievably delicious, even better than many restaurants I've eaten at outside the park. If someone asked me what the best food I've had in Thailand so far was, I'd immediately answer, "The water park's buffet." I especially had three bowls of Tom Yum Goong soup; I just couldn't stop! The dry park section was also great; the rides were thrilling enough, and the wait times weren't too long, making for a very fulfilling day of play.

We came on the last day of our trip. The instructor was very patient, and explained some dishes in Chinese. We were grouped with a Korean family of three. We visited the local market and cooked four dishes in total. It was a very interesting experience and definitely worth trying.
