The tour was well worth the money, and our guide, Gary, was very professional. When I visited Osaka last winter, I booked a one-day tour through Klook, and the guide contacted me via WhatsApp beforehand. This time, no one contacted me in advance, which made me quite anxious. However, everything started very smoothly once we arrived at the designated time and meeting point. My husband, children, and I had a wonderful trip, enjoyed a delicious lunch, and had a great time tasting green tea. I highly recommend booking this tour if it's your first time visiting the places on the itinerary, as it takes care of your meals and transportation.

I had so much fun, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish! Since it’s a self-guided tour, there was plenty of room for exploring on our own while still having the flexibility to enjoy the trip at our own pace. Our guide, HaoWen, was also very thoughtful and gave us souvenirs at the end of the trip. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Booked this for my family of 6. It was very convenient as we wanted a private transport arrangement with pick up from our hotel. The itinerary was customised based on what we wanted to see which was Nara-Uji- Kyoto all in 10 hours. Had to top up 3000 yen to add Uji + parking/toll fees (separate- it was around 10000yen) but it was worth it! The company contacted us prior to the trip to confirm the itinerary and pick up time. Lunch can be arranged or you can eat at any one of your stops. This trip would never have happened with the usual bus tour as typically it would be just two cities Nara & Kyoto (Uji not included). Driver was very polite throughout but could only speak in Mandarin. Not an issue as we were able to communicate using Google Translate. Driver waited in the car while we took our time to explore and we were not rushed at all. Just need to be mindful that it takes around 1.5hrs back to Osaka city from Kyoto. Our family had the best time. Thank you!

Our driver provided an outstanding experience from start to finish. He arrived on time, was professional, courteous, and made our trip to Himeji Castle stress-free and enjoyable. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and he drove safely while navigating the area with ease.
What really stood out was how helpful he was throughout the day. He even assisted us with translating while we were shopping for a gift, which made the experience much easier and more enjoyable. His kindness, patience, and willingness to go above and beyond were greatly appreciated.
Thanks to his excellent service, we were able to relax and enjoy one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable, professional transportation. Thank you for helping make our visit so memorable!

We had a great time in Himeji and Kobe! The atmosphere was so peaceful… slow, calm, and serene.
Mr. Cao is a great driver! He is very approachable, friendly, and organized, which made the whole trip even more enjoyable.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience! ✨

Universal Studios Japan is worth visiting. Rides are manageable good for kids and adults. However they are too strict for height requirements for kids. It’s totally okay not to get express pass as long as you plan what you ride. Zombie night is also super fun!😊

What to know about Namba Yasaka Jinja
Just a short walk from Nankai Station and the Namba Parks shopping complex in Osaka City's Naniwa-ku is Namba Yasaka Shrine. This shrine is home to the guardian deity of Namba and used to be part of a group of Buddhist temples destroyed during wartime air raids. Namba Yasaka Shrine is known for its lion-shaped stage, a unique sight amidst the surrounding temples. This special spot reflects Osaka's mix of tradition, retro styles, and modernity, right in the heart of the lively entertainment district. While cherry blossom trees bloom in spring around the shrine's grounds, the buildings you see today are post-war reconstructions, holding their charm and history in this intangible folk cultural property. Although the original buildings are gone, the shrine remains a strong force against evil spirits, bringing good luck and safety.

Lion Head-Shaped Building
Shishiden, a 12-meter tall lion head-shaped building, is the main attraction at Namba Yasaka Shrine. Legend has it that the open mouth of the lion swallows evil spirits, bringing good luck for business and school endeavors.
Cherry Blossom Trees
During springtime, the shrine grounds come alive with the beauty of cherry blossom trees. Visitors can enjoy a stroll amidst the blooming flowers, making it a popular spot for nature lovers.
Tug-of-War Ritual
Watch the impressive Tug-of-War ritual held on the third Sunday of January, commemorating the victory of the god Susano-ono-Mikoto over the serpent god Yamato-no-orochi. Join the festive atmosphere and experience a unique cultural tradition.
Tsunahiki Shingi Festival
The Tsunahiki Shingi Festival commemorates Susanoo-no-mikoto's victory over Yamata-no-orochi, where he saved the people. During the festival, an eight-headed and eight-tailed tug of war rope, resembling a serpent, is pulled in a direction symbolizing the year's blessings. Once the rope is tugged, it is presented before the deity, with people praying for blessings from the sea, rivers, mountains, and fields. They also seek stability in their livelihood, safety in their homes, and prosperity in their businesses.
Summer Festival, Funatogyo (Boat Procession)
The Summer Festival at Namba Yasaka Shrine is a lively event held on July 13 and 14. During this festival, you can enjoy colorful processions with portable shrines, carts, and drum performances in Sennichimae, Dotonbori, and Ebisubashi Suji. The festivities include traditional lion dances, music, and even rice cake pounding. One of the highlights is a fleet of around 20 boats cruising from Minatomachi landing to the Dotonbori River, bringing a joyful atmosphere to the streets of Osaka's Minami district.
