Things to do in Hakone Gora Park

The weather was better than expected and I got great views of Fujisan. Golddy was amazing in letting us know where to get the best photo spots and also introduced the snacks we should be trying along the way. This tour packs a lot of spots but I think the time given at each stop was good enough.

You don't need to exchange your ticket upon arrival; you can go directly to the boarding line. Just show your e-ticket on your phone to the staff, and you can board immediately. Only those wishing to purchase a special room need to queue to buy it first. We were very lucky with the weather that day; Mount Fuji was clearly visible, and the photos turned out beautifully, like a painting.

Today I went on the excursion to Hakone, and it was wonderful. Our guide, Eric, was very friendly, professional, and helpful. He shared anecdotes and interesting facts about this area near Mount Fuji. The bus ride was very comfortable and useful for taking a nap. I highly recommend this lovely day tour to everyone, both for the scenery and for the opportunity to buy plenty of souvenirs. Thanks again to our kind guide for a great experience!!

(Don't skip the black eggs!) ​On the Water & Air: Gliding across Lake Ashi on the pirate ship offered breathtaking views, followed by sweeping panoramas on the Hakone Ropeway. ​Stress-Free Logistics: Navigating Hakone's multi-layered transit (buses, ropeways, boats) on your own can be confusing, but this tour seamlessly connects every piece of the puzzle. ​Special thanks to our guide (Yang) and driver for keeping everything punctual while giving us plenty of time to explore. Worth every penny!

I really loved having the outdoor hot springs; it was so wonderful! After the hot springs, I relaxed in the relaxation room, even dozing off, then went back to the hot springs again, and it was just fantastic. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and other amenities are all provided. I booked in advance through Klook, which made it affordable! It was also nice to explore the outdoor area on the first floor, as there were some great photo spots.

Booking this guided tour was one of the best decisions I made, it turned out to be such a wonderful experience. Our guide, Erik, was fantastic! He was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, sharing so much interesting information about the places we visited and the history of the area. He was also approachable which made the whole day relaxed and enjoyable. Seeing Mount Fuji, exploring Hakone, experiencing the pirate ship on Lake Ashi, Owakudani and Oshino Hakkai made for such a memorable day. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and it was amazing to experience so much in one day. A huge thank you to Erik for making my first overseas tour such a positive and memorable experience. We had a great day trip with our tour guide, Jack! He was friendly, engaging, and explained everything clearly and in detail. His English was very fluent, which made the whole tour easy to follow and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The Open-Air Museum is a very interesting museum with a variety of artworks to appreciate. As it's open-air, it'll be best to bring an umbrella for both rain and sun. Definitely allocate as least 2-3 hours when you visit this. It's a great attraction for kids as well as adults.
