Very relaxing experience. We love staying in Hoshino Resorts KAI Yufuin. Everything was perfect.

Very quiet, not crowded and not noisy. Although the hotel feels a little old, the advantage is that there are not too many people in the hot spring! The room is also very spacious and the tatami is very comfortable to sleep. Each person staying on the tatami is given a bag of supplies for hot spring bathing. Remember to bring them to the hot spring. There are no disposable supplies on the table in the hot spring on the first floor! There are only large bottles of makeup, lotion, and face wash. It is about 8 minutes walk from the station and 5 minutes away from Lawson

The reserved room was very clean and spacious. The staff was super accommodating. The best part is that my room had a separate entrance, saving me time when coming and going. Individual house with two private onsen, all staff are friendly. Private room for breakfast and dinner. Really great experience. But the facility is a bit old eg wash room may need to be refurbished. Overall is great, recommended.

When checking in, the front desk staff told me that I had to pay a hot spring tax. Even though I was staying in a room with four single beds, I was still asked to pay extra for my child. If you are traveling with children, please be aware of this. The hot springs are arranged in a male and female schedule, as there is only one bathing space.
