Things to do in Chiang Mai Province

Puncture pick up at fge hotel, and we went for a local market tour with a lot of interesting local delicacies on show. When we arrived at the school, we toured around the garden to see and taste different ingredients. Our coach chef （Blue) is a nice person and know exactly how to make the whole experience enjoyable and funny. Everyone had a great time with a fully filled stomach. We were greeted and accompanied by 2 K9 friends as well. This is a great experience especially with friends. I enjoyed it very much as well although I was doing solo.

One of the BEST activities I did in Chiang Mai! Mr. Jimmie was absolutely hilarious and made the whole experience unforgettable. I loved every part of it—the market visit, cooking our three dishes, and the beautiful location. As a solo traveler, it was also the perfect place to meet new friends. Highly recommend! Kudos!!

This was such a wonderful experience at the elephant sanctuary! Our tour guide, Mr. Handsome, was amazing-knowledgeable, friendly, and super helpful with photography (haha). The elephants seemed to live happily and stress-free with their caretakers. I really enjoy the feeding part - including preparing foods and bathing for them. Highly recommended!

The Chiang Mai Skyline Jungle Flight Zipline Adventure is a thrilling experience combined with beautiful scenery, making it highly recommended overall. The staff at the starting point will demonstrate in detail how to wear the equipment and how to brake. They will also help check the safety buckles throughout the entire process, allowing first-timers to relax and enjoy themselves. When sliding from the treetop platform, you can overlook the entire mountain forest and the mountains in the distance. The sky is super blue and the view is very wide. When flying on some of the longer ziplines, you really get the feeling of "flying" over the jungle. There are multiple viewing platforms and photo spots along the way where you can wait for your teammates and slowly enjoy the scenery of the Chiang Mai mountains. The overall route is well-planned, and the physical burden is not too heavy, making it suitable for general tourists and groups of friends to play together. If you are not afraid of heights and want to find a fun and scenic outdoor activity in Chiang Mai, I highly recommend adding this jungle zipline to your itinerary.

Had an amazing time with this Klook deal! Everything went smoothly—from the hotel pick-up to the drop-off. The staff were super friendly and accommodating throughout the whole experience. Our schedule started at 9AM, so we decided to have lunch at the location—and it did not disappoint. The food was superb! The jungle coaster was really fun and definitely a must-try. The zipline was perfect for those looking for a bit more adventure. There were a few obstacle activities before reaching the final quick jump, which made it even more exciting. It took us about an hour to complete everything from the zipline to the last activity. They even gave us free water after, which was a nice touch. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a fun, active day out!

The whole itinerary was seamless and made for a genuinely wonderful experience — from the elephant sanctuary to bamboo rafting and our time at Bua Tong Waterfall. Each activity was well-paced and enjoyable. Our driver-guide, Dum See, was friendly, patient and very experienced. He took the effort to understand our different needs, whether it was helping the kids feel comfortable or ensuring the adults had enough time at each stop. His warm personality really added to the day. Overall, it was a memorable and well-organised trip, and I’d highly recommend it, especially for families with kids.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Chiang Mai Kerchor Elephant Eco Park! The entire tour was well-organized, educational, and truly memorable. Our guide, Rocky, made the day even more special—he was incredibly funny, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout the entire experience. Rocky shared fascinating facts about the elephants and the park’s conservation efforts, and his sense of humor kept everyone smiling. The interactions with the elephants were respectful and heartwarming, and it was clear that the animals are well cared for. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Chiang Mai, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Rocky as your guide!

This Chiang Rai Instagrammable Places day trip is a long but worthwhile experience if you want to see the main highlights in one go. Every stop is touristy, so it's best to set expectations early. Mae Kachan Hot Spring was a quick break where I grabbed coffee and bread from nearby shops. The Long Neck Village ticket is 300 THB and felt more like a shopping area than a cultural visit, but I treated it as support for the tribe and bought a scarf. Lunch was at a local Thai restaurant before visiting the White Temple, which is beautiful and well crafted but very crowded; the golden toilet building was a fun detail. The Blue Temple was stunning and my personal favorite, though small. Lalita Café was magical and great for nature lovers, with reasonably priced drinks, but extremely crowded. The 3.5hour drive back was tiring, but overall the tour is affordable, well organized, the guide was informative, and the trip is worth it.

The safari itself was worth watching and the show was good. Children enjoy it. I recommend you enjoy it more than four hours.
