Fantastic 5.0
Facilities: I visited once shortly after it first opened several years ago, and back then, the dinosaurs and facilities were quite uninteresting. This time, however, it's much richer! In addition to many new facilities, the dinosaurs are now more accessible to children, allowing both adults and kids to get closer for photos and interaction!

Fantastic 5.0
Today, the rope course and bumper cars were closed for maintenance during our visit. The parent-child go-karts, grass sledding, and jungle riders were fun, and there wasn't much of a wait on a weekday! Admission includes two tokens for kids to use on attractions, and collecting stamps can even earn you a small gift.

Fantastic 5.0
The trees in the Cheng Mei Cultural Park clearly show that a lot of effort has gone into pruning them; they are incredibly neat. Some of the walkways inside are cordoned off and inaccessible. To use the QR Code, you must first go to the ticket office to exchange it for a physical 100-dollar discount voucher before you can enter.

Good ticket price, fast process to enter, only need to show QR code at entrance ticket counter. A fantastic museum so far! Enjoyed the exhibition a lot, especially the rooms on the second floor. Also, it is one of the best places I‘ve visited in Lukang 🫶🏽

Fantastic 5.0
Because I love mushrooms, I searched online and found this farm with good reviews, so I decided to go. There were quite a few visitors on Saturday. Growing mushrooms was fun, but I wouldn't recommend the experience if you're not going home the same day, as you have to carry them around, which is a bit inconvenient. You can ask customer service any questions you have about growing mushrooms. My mushrooms haven't grown yet, but I hope they succeed.

Fantastic 5.0
The location was correct, but we had trouble finding it because there was no sign. However, the owner came out to greet us. Our buddy, Rock, was incredibly supportive, and even though I'm a complete beginner, I felt like I was doing really well. We got about 100 photos and videos, which made for a great memory. I would definitely love to do this again.

What to know before visiting Changhua

What to expect in Changhua

This Things to Do catalogue is led by Parks & gardens, Theme parks and Museums, listed in that order, and includes smaller categories such as Observation decks and Zoos & aquariums — a mix that suits family outings, nature breaks and a few indoor cultural stops. Demand peaks in August and falls to its quietest in September, so attractions are busiest in August and noticeably quieter in September, which can make getting into the same experience easier outside the peak. The selection means you can plan days outdoors or in covered attractions depending on the weather and the crowd levels.

Choosing what to book in Changhua

The main decision is whether you want broad choice or straightforward value: the category with the widest range gives the most variety at different price points, while some categories keep prices very similar no matter where you shop. Theme parks offer the widest span with a typical price around MYR 69 and entry-level options around MYR 41, so they suit travellers who want either basic admission or a more feature-rich experience.

If you just need an easy, budget-friendly option to fill gaps in your itinerary, Museums are the most affordable way in with a typical price near MYR 20, and categories such as Observation decks and Zoos & aquariums show very narrow ranges so comparison hunting there gains little. Mid-range choices like Parks & gardens have a reliable middle price around MYR 57 where inclusions can vary, so check what each option actually offers.

When travellers from Malaysia book

Most travellers book very close to travel, with bookings typically made 0 days ahead, while the earliest planners start about 3 days ahead. Plan on last-minute decisions rather than months in advance, and give yourself extra time when visiting in August, the busiest month.
