The park is large and loaded with fun things to do for you and your fam!
It hasn’t been long since Water World at Ocean Park Hong Kong first opened its doors to guests. The massive waterpark opened last September 21, 2021 after four years of construction and delays, and became Asia’s first all-weather, year-round waterpark. Step into an oasis as you reconnect with nature in Water World, which is surrounded by greenery and sparkling waters. With such a setting, Water World has taken steps to be environmentally-conscious in their design and ways of business by saving energy and minimising water consumption!

    What to Do

    Rides

There are five different themed zones to explore at Water World: the Torrential River, Thrill Valley, the Splendid Reef, Adventure Coast, and the Hidden Village. Here are some star attractions to give you an idea on what to expect during your trip:

    1. Whiskers’ Splash

The whole park’s a playground, but this one is meant specifically for the little ones!

Head on over to the Hidden Village for family-friendly fun for guests of all ages. The Whiskers’ Splash is a safe splash zone where kids can enjoy themselves while their parents cool down. It’s like a regular playground, but better and much more refreshing! There are slides, sprinklers, and heaps more so the kids are entertained.

    2. Thunder Loop, Daredevil Drop, and Bravery Cliffs

One second you’re standing tall, and the next you’re sliding down twists and turns.

Make sure to drop—pun intended—by Thrill Valley for a screamin’ good time. The Thunder Loop, Daredevil Drop, and Bravery Cliffs are all appropriately named body slides with sudden drops and maximum splashes. We should let you know, though, that these slides are not for the faint of heart or for guests below 120cm in height.

    3. Cyclone Spin and Tropical Twist

Two is better than one when it comes to enjoying any ride.

In the Torrential River, you can look forward to safe thrills for kids, teens, and adults. The Cyclone Spin and Tropical Twist are outdoor twin slides perfect to be enjoyed by friends, partners, and family! One is pitch black and the other is translucent, giving a different twist-and-turn experience, so make sure you don’t leave the park without trying both.
