    After months of prolonged lockdown, the vaccination rate in Klang Valley has finally exceeded the herd immunity target, with over 90% of the population now fully vaccinated. Relaxed SOPs have been put in place for fully vaccinated individuals, who will now finally be able to enjoy certain activities that have been banned for the past few months - this includes dining in at restaurants, staycations within the city, and travelling interdistrict as well as between KL and Selangor.
    We've compiled a list of activities you can now do around KL and Selangor if you're fully vaccinated - make sure to keep your masks on while you plan a safe and fun day out with your loved ones!

    1. Try your hand at pottery

    While the interstate travel ban is still in place, this doesn't mean you can't plan a weekend getaway with your loved ones. Based on the newly announced MCO SOPs, homestays and hotel stays within the city are now allowed for fully vaccinated individuals.     After months of only allowing food delivery and takeaways, dine-in is finally allowed again as we step into phase 2 of the MCO. However, with cases still on a rise, we'd recommend picking a restaurant with a spacious layout, good ventilation, and enhanced safety measures put in place if you'd like to dine out.

    Fishing is another activity that is now allowed! If you'd like to plan a laid-back day out, we'd highly recommend making your way to the Hulu Langat Fishing Resort, known as one of the best fishing spots in Selangor.
    This tranquil resort consists of a large fishing pond fringed by cosy accommodation for those who'd like to spend a night here. Cast your line and learn the art of fishing from private, comfortable platforms - you won't have to worry about brushing shoulders with strangers while you're here. Cinemas nationwide can now operate with 50% of the capacity of the screening halls (do note that couple seats will only be allowed for members of the same household) and fully vaccinated individuals can enter after showing proof of their vaccination.     Along with the relaxed SOPs, climbing gyms across Klang Valley have also reopened with strict safety measures put in place - this includes compulsory mask-wearing, reduced outlet capacity to avoid overcrowding, the requirement to reserve your slot in advance, and more.
    Enjoy a good workout at Camp5, a climbing gym with three branches around Klang Valley fitted with spacious layouts, high ceilings, and a good range of rock climbing and bouldering walls.
