Located in the northern state of Belum in Perak, Malaysia, it is one of the oldest rainforests in the world and is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. The unique capsule units here are surrounded by lush forest and uniquely merge nature and the luxury of the city (with proper beds and the charming town located just 5 minutes away!).
17. Hammocks By The River
Distance From KL: 40 minutes
Hammocks By The River is a popular and well-loved campsite located in Hulu Langat, Selangor. Escape your overwhelming city life and dive into the calming vibes of the campsite that's well-equipped with barbecue facilities, clean toilets, a clubhouse, and hammocks (of course) for you to swing your stress away. You can book a camping package that comes inclusive of all the camping equipment you need - just bring your own food and you'll be set for an adventure! Do note that Hammocks By The River has an 'adults-only' policy and only accepts campers aged 15 and above.
18. Endau-Rompin National Park, Johor
Distance from KL: 3.5 hours
Endau-Rompin is one of the oldest tropical rainforests in the world, and is a popular camping location in Malaysia! You're in for an adventure the moment you step foot here - the national park is dotted with breathtaking waterfalls, scenic jungle trails, an Orang Asli village, and rivers where you can swim in or float down on rubber tubes. There are a handful of camping sites you can choose from - but you'll have to get a camping permit and bring your own tent!
19. GO Glamping, Raub
Distance from KL: 1 hour 30 minutes
Go Glamping is a camping site that's located in the breathtakingly beautiful town of Raub, Pahang. The campsite has also planted more than 10 species of tropical fruit trees, including durian, mangosteen, rambutan, papaya, banana, and so much more! During the fruit season, guests can experience the thrill of picking and tasting fresh fruits. Imagine indulging in sweet and juicy fruits while being surrounded by the natural beauty of Raub. 20. Umea Glam Kundasang, Sabah
Opened just last year, Umea Glam Kundasang is a dreamy glamping spot surrounded by sweeping views of valleys, trees, and mountains in Sabah. The 4 dome-style units here are filled with rustic and cosy furniture such as tapestry rugs, wooden floorboards, comfy chairs, and simple beds.
