Reviews
difficulty of the hike: sheeesh, those stairs of doom (an optional part) will really tire you out! so just a FYI to go at your own pace and be mindful of this. other than the stairs of doom, everything else is super beautiful and it was a great experience!
a wonderful experience. the tour guide is local. she is professional and welcoming. worth the price tho there is some hiking, which might not be suitable for older people. but everyone can choose if they want to proceed to intermediate hiking trails.
The view of the waterfall and mountain is amazing! However, it is not suitable for the elderly or those with knee problems, as there are many stairs and they are quite steep (as described in the trip details).
the whole trip went smoothly and the view was nice, the hiking route is not too difficult but it could be hard for someone since there are some steep stairs. The van is a little bit small so I felt a little bit crowded.
perfect feedback for this tour, the tour guide Charm aka Drake give us a knowledgeable trivias about Australia and he is not boring…
I feel the itinerary to the waterfall is not for the elderly. We are in our 50s and under estimated our stamina especially the last 10 minutes of the slope going down. Shannon was pleasant and friendly. The view definitely was breath taking but not really worth to see the waterfall. Lincoln's Rock and Echo Point were amazing.
The guide was very informative and the entire tour went smoothly even tho it rain badly. The hike up was manageable, although tiring but it was worth it! The view of the waterfall was amazing!
The bus transfer was great. The guide was very nice and the lunch was delicious. The tour involved a lot more walking than expected and a lot of going up and down stairs, so you need to be physically fit. I thought it was a great value for just 10,000 yen.
Pretty good,Need to have physical strength
This approximately 2-hour hike is very leisurely, as the guide sets a slow pace. Only the final section, the incredibly steep trail from the top of the waterfall down to the bottom and back up, is a bit tiring (though you can choose to wait at the top and not go down, which would be a bit of a shame). The elevation change is about 100 meters, but it's not too difficult if you take it slowly in sections. It's common to see locals with 5 or 6-year-old children on the trail. This method offers a more immersive experience of the Blue Mountains' grandeur and beauty than taking a cable car or scenic railway, and I highly recommend it. The guide is also very professional and attentive, not only leading the way but also sharing interesting facts to make the journey more engaging and enjoyable. The entire tour includes transportation, lunch, and commentary, so there are no additional expenses throughout the day unless you want snacks or souvenirs. It's excellent value for money.
