Franz Josef Glacier Heli-Hike Experience

it was a good experience. we couldn't leave,cloudy. helicopter couldn't fly to get us back. we were stranded for a couple of hours. finally it was cleared and we were brought back to the base

Our glacier hike was being cancelled due to the local forecast of rainy day in noon time. Luckily we still managed to change our activity to a morning scenic flight instead. As it was cheaper than the original activity, the glacier office staff help us to inform Klook and the refund was being process automatically without hassle. Will book with klook again:)

Had a really awesome time during this helihike tour. It was wonderful to experience the glaciers although the hike was quite tiring with the blazing sun. Definitely a must go once in a lifetime experience.

Helicopter glacier hiking isn’t cheap, but it’s worth it. The weather in the west of the South Island is unstable. The trip will only be possible if the weather is good. If the trip is not possible, the local government will assist with refunds or rescheduling.

Glaciers are a type of terrain that cannot be seen in Taiwan, and I highly recommend that you come and experience it.
