Awesome experience! Staffs were friendly & patient! Instructions were clear and we had a great time! topped up additional 80rm for 2 bigger canvas (30x40). Good activity as you can bring back your art piece right after! highly recommend!
It was so much fun! The people were quick to assist and teach me how to color the batik. They also briefed me about the history and the process of making the batik. Felt meditative as well since they provieded me with my own table and all the other guests were peaceful making their batiks. MUST TRY experience for sure!
I had a great experience at the Batik Coloring Workshop at Jadi Batek! I chose to decorate a tote bag, and the staff member who assisted me provided clear instructions and a demonstration before I started, making it easy to follow along. The process was both relaxing and enjoyable. As a beginner, I appreciated being able to work at my own pace. The staff assigned to me checked in regularly to offer guidance and ensure I was happy with my progress. The environment was nice, and the activity was a fantastic way to experience Malaysian culture. Highly recommended for a fun and creative experience!
I did the workshop with the totebag. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, they explain the proces and guide you along the way. It was a fun and mindfull experience to escape the busy city and heat!
I booked at last minute for a tote bag making and the supervisor was so professional and helpful. It was so nice to see all the people making their own pieces of beautiful batik art work. I bought a few waxed tote bag kits home for my daughter and her friends to do too.
My child and I had the experience of coloring silk on a small canvas and coloring a tote bag. Even my 7-year-old child had fun and it took a little over an hour. The English explanations were given slowly so there was no need to worry. There were also simple explanations in Japanese on the wall. Everyone was kind and it was fun. At the end, I thought there would be a lot of product sales, but the souvenirs I had seen were only briefly mentioned as there were other sizes and patterns. I bought a handkerchief for my grandmother and a painting kit for my friend.
Choose your favorite design from several designs and color it. The staff will teach you carefully. I chose a bag type. I was able to concentrate on drawing and it was a wonderful time for me. In addition, various batik clothes and scarves are sold in the store. I am satisfied with making a one-of-a-kind original batik.
fun, relaxing activity. did a small canvass with my mom. there were many designs available to choose from and the instructor was clear in explaining each step to us.
Super worth it! I had a lot of fun learning about the Batik style, how everything is done and the attention to detail they put. I chose the tote bag, predesigned one. It was still very fun to color. We chose the option to boil the bag there and not do it ourselves. The staff was helpful and they worked with us so that we could make it happens since we were leaving in 2 days.
We enjoyed this batik painting experience! The check-in process was seamless. Had the time to slow down and play with colour mixing. Huge thanks to Wani for her guidance on how best to blend the different colors to achieve the ombré effect. They also gave us instructions on what to do with candle wax removal when we get home. Recommend this to those who want to spend a quiet, creative afternoon unleashing their inner artists. This batik place is also just 5-min walk from TRX The Exchange, 10-min walk from the Bukit Bintang area, and is surrounded by eateries. Worth a visit to unwind if you’re looking to hang out with a friend or have a date in the bustling area.
