Jadesails Luxury Day Cruise: Ha Long Bay & Lan Ha Bay Tour

This tour is highly recommended for those who have already explored Hanoi city and are looking for something new. My husband and I were the only two Japanese passengers out of 48, but we had a very comfortable experience. The transfer bus was a 7-seater limousine (more like a large car than a typical tour bus, with electric reclining seats, though the third row didn't recline, similar to an Alphard). Inside, there was one bottle of mineral water and a USB port. We had a 15-minute break after arriving in Ha Long City, then a 10-minute transfer to the port for boarding. We were first guided to a table, which served as our designated seat for the entire day (we could leave our belongings there). The outdoor deck had open seating, and it wasn't crowded as there were plenty of seats for the number of passengers. If it's sunny, you won't get very wet unless you go swimming, but Ha Long Bay is often cloudy, so it's safer to wear clothes that can get wet or bring a change of clothes. The boat also has separate showers for men and women, so you can rinse off after swimming in the sea. Activities included bamboo boating (5-7 people per boat, with locals paddling through a tunnel-like cave), kayaking (2-person kayaks, you paddle yourselves), and swimming (at the same time as kayaking; both kayaking and swimming are optional. I personally recommend swimming!). There was also a cooking experience to make spring rolls (a 3-5 minute activity, first 7 people, not everyone. Two people who rolled them well were chosen as winners and received beer as a prize). After that, we simply relaxed until returning to port. Fruits and cakes were served along the way. Some people even received birthday cakes, perhaps arranged in advance. Honestly, the food was just average, but everything else was so perfect that it made the food seem delicious, haha. For drinks, I had two cocktails and two mocktails, paying an additional 799 Vietnamese Dong. It was very affordable! A photographer was on board all day and sent us the photos via AirDrop at the end. As a bonus, they also gave us three printed photos. This is a free photo service. It's best to ask them to take your picture if you want to make the most of it. We just let them take random shots of us.

Amazing luxury day cruise to Ha Long Bay! Everything was top notch high-quality, and simply well done. Very organized and professional staff are at your service from the beginning until the end. Lily was our server that helped us all day. She was always very attentive and cheerful. The lunch buffet had a good selection and were plentiful. They also included an afternoon tea time which had quite a spread as well. Even their goodbye send off was pretty memorable as the captain and his staff were at the top deck, waving off to us while a single flutist played some sweet melody. I would definitely recommend this to friends and anyone who would like to do a tour of the bay!

I participated in the Halong Bay day cruise by Jadesails, booked through Klook! It was very convenient as they picked me up from the hotel lobby (The Q Boutique Hotel) and dropped me back off at the hotel. On the way, we stopped at a pearl farm for a restroom break. I was a bit confused because there was no prior explanation, but it was just a chance to look at jewelry, and there was no pressure to buy anything, so it was perfectly fine not to purchase. Although the price was slightly higher than other tours, I was very satisfied with both the cruise content and the meals! The tour explanation was primarily in English, but there was a female staff member named Jewelry who spoke a little Japanese, which was very reassuring. When asked, she also provided a Japanese handout detailing the tour. Overall, including the transfers, cruise content, and meals, it was a very satisfying tour! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy Halong Bay on a day trip!

An incredibly satisfying trip! From the premium shuttle service from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay at the start, to the welcome and service on the boat, everything was excellent. It's no wonder it's a bit more expensive than typical tours, but it's absolutely worth it. Especially the service from our attendant, Jasper, which was truly five-star quality; he was handsome and very kind. The itinerary included a small boat tour to Lan Ha Bay, followed by kayaking and swimming. I didn't bring a swimsuit, so I didn't go in the water, but I saw the kids having a great time. In the afternoon, there was also a spring roll making activity accompanied by live music, which was very pleasant and comfortable. What a fantastic journey!

We had an amazing time. The food was delicious. The staff was kind and attentive. Shout out to the team leader, Vinny, and our favorite girl, Le Quyen, exceptional at helping us taking pictures, bringing us specialty dishes, desserts and make sure we got our drinks.

Huge welcome and goodbye, super clean, staff kept mopping ground, everything including the deck and toilet was so new and nice, toilet even had a view and bidet! lockers, towels, soap and shampoo provided for swims. live station bun cha and cha ca was super yummy!!! staff were really organised and knew their roles well as a team. Enjoyed our time as a family and would reccomend!

Highly, highly recommended! From the comfortable car transfer at the beginning to the music and roses greeting us as we boarded, the meticulous service and comfortable facilities made us feel completely at home! The choice of attractions was also excellent. This was my third time visiting Ha Long Bay, and it was the first time I truly experienced its tranquility and beauty! I sincerely thank all the staff, especially Jenny, who served us on board. Her service was thoughtful, attentive, and perfectly appropriate! And the host/guide, with fluent English, even helped us take photos! I will definitely recommend this to friends and family! Thank you all so much!

Loved the cruise. It was not crowded only max of 99 people per trip. The crew was very informative and helpful. Food was good. They have sun beds, jacuzzi and lots of activites. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing day on the JadeSails luxury cruise around Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay! The staff were very friendly and attentive—they checked on us throughout the trip and were always happy to help with anything. The service felt really thoughtful and personal, especially during lunch and the sunset party on deck. The itinerary was fantastic and well‑organized: we enjoyed kayaking, swimming in a quiet bay, a fun cooking demo, and a beautiful sunset cruise back. The boat itself is stunning—modern, spacious, and very clean, with a great sundeck and pool area. Overall, it was a truly enjoyable and memorable experience; highly recommended!

No regrets booking Jadesails! They exceeded my expectations. The buffet was great and the staff are so warm and welcoming! I also celebrated my birthday with them and they surprised me with roses and cake. This was the highlight of my Vietnam escapade. 💖
