Yarra Valley Wine & Food Day Tour from Melbourne

The tour guide was very professional and provided a lot of knowledge. We bought some wine and offered to help put it in the trunk of the car. The traveling companions were also humorous, a small group of eight people in total. The whole day was enjoyable. Highly recommended

Very enjoyable tour that was conducted in a small group. Our tour guide Paul was very friendly and engaging, and made the effort to remember everyone’s name. At some of the wineries we even had a private room for our group. In total we visited 5 very good wineries, and had around 30 wines, some with cheese pairings. Lunch at Yering Station was sumptuous. Overall a fantastic experience!

It was a fantastic tour. Our tour guide and driver, Shane, was very friendly. He introduced Yarra Valley to us and patiently waited for us while we were enjoying the tasting sessions. We visited 5 wineries on a single day and adequate time was given in each winery we visited. Highly recommended!

On this winery tour, we visited a total of five wineries, including Oakright, Dominique Portet, Payten & Jones, Yering station, and De Bortoli, and had lunch at Yering station. We felt quite satisfied with the whole trip. The tour guide Paul was very attentive. The experienced tour guide listened carefully and responded to every conversation. For example, when we got on the bus, we mentioned a little bit that we were architects, so he specially took us to admire the wooden roof of the winery up close. Or you might go out of your way to find kangaroos to make your children happy. Since it was our first time tasting wine, he was also there to discuss and share with us. I found this particular package tour overpriced since 3 out of 5 were sub-par wine tastings. Unlike, my last week's hunter valley wine tour package, 3 out of 5 wineries, by measurement, provided only 2 sips of each wine AND to my shock all were without cheese pairings. Moreover, the lunch at Yering Station was over streteched and wasted too many hours. Please don't be swayed away by the premium pricing of this package. Not a good value for money.
