Hokkaido: Lake Toya Snowmobile & Noboribetsu Jigokudani (Hell Valley) & Bear Park & Lake Hill Farm Day Trip
Hokkaido Winter | One Day to See Snowfields, Cute Bears, and Hell Valley
Experience the thrill of snowmobiling on the shores of Lake Toya, covered in a blanket of silver. The cold wind whistles past your ears, the roar of the engine synchronizes with your heartbeat, allowing you to gallop freely across the pure white snowfield, feeling the unique wildness and freedom of winter Hokkaido.
This is home to many adorable brown bears. They stand up and wave to tourists, begging for food, their clumsy movements and cute eyes are endearing. Feed them special biscuits and experience the surprising cuteness and healing brought by these large creatures up close.
The volcanic remains appear even more mysterious and desolate under the snow. Rolling sulfur steam gushes from cracks in the ground, as if the earth is breathing. In winter, the biting cold wind intertwines with the scorching geothermal heat, creating a breathtaking and peculiar landscape that feels like being in another world.
The Bear Ranch is not only a viewing spot but also an interactive place full of laughter. Visitors can buy special feed and enjoy the fun of feeding brown bears, watching them make various funny expressions as they compete for food. It is a healing attraction much loved by children during family outings.
Stroll along the Noboribetsu Hell Valley boardwalk, surrounded by a desolate landscape permeated with the smell of sulfur. The steaming hot springs and the pristine white snow create a strong visual contrast. The winter-exclusive "Hot Spring Steam and Snow" landscape perfectly blends the wildness and softness of nature, making it unforgettable.

Reviews
our guide, HONG was very nice !! i say he love his job so much!!.. he even offer things just for our convenience !! explaining history and introducing products on every souvenir shops we stop-by. even got connected to us via whats app before tour and kept us updated on every stop we had during the whole trip
The tour was a mixed experience. Unfortunately, the tour guide Yao Yao felt disengaged, unapproachable, and did not seem to care much about the group. Fukidashi Park was underwhelming, and the Lake Toya snowmobile activity was missing despite being stated in the itinerary, which felt misleading. Time at the Lake Toya viewpoint was too short, though the view itself was decent. On the positive side, Lake Hill Farm was great—the ice cream is a must-try. Showa Shinzan Bear Ranch was fun, especially feeding the bears. Noboribetsu Jigokudani Valley was alright overall.

He also make sure we had our food on time.It was all well organised systematic & punctual. The driver was excellent & competent driving in the snow going up the hill.
If I could rate this tour a 6 star I would. We had a fun experience. The bus ride was never boring because of Arafat and his funny stories. Would definitely recommend this tour.
