What to expect
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in central Beijing, drop you off at the high-speed rail station to check in for your ride, and enjoy a 2-hour high-speed rail train ride to Datong.
Upon arrival, the driver will pick you up at the station, and the first stop will be the Hanging Temple, and you will explore the spectacular temple on your own. At noon, stop at a local restaurant to try Datong's signature knife-cut noodles. Then go directly to the Yungang Grottoes, where the docent will introduce you to art and history.
After the tour, you will be transferred to Datong Railway Station and returned to Beijing. Upon arrival, our driver will pick you up from the train station and you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.
