This was a trip I made with the kids alone. Just Mommy and two young children. The speedboat experience was really nice with fruits and drinks on board. Safety precautions were also made. All of us were wearing life jackets throughout the ride. The rural side of Vietnam was also an eye-opener for me and the children. Enjoyed every bit of it.
Day at Mekong was amazing. Tour guide was very helpful, intelligent, polite and supportive. Lunch was probably the best I had in two weeks in Vietnam.
Lovely company and great guide - But this tour was a huge waste of time and money. You hardly see the real delta you are dragged from the new farm to the coconut farm to the fruit farm all of which spend their entire time trying to sell you their goods - 4 hr round trip to get there too. As I say the guide was very sweet but the tour was a shopping spree scam. Not the real delta
