It was a great experience. Our tour guide is very enthusiastic. We love the boat ride, get to see the locals and their culture. Food was delicious. Kids love the bike ride after lunch. It was a fun day and not too busy or packed with tourists
Everything was as described in the itinerary. Our tour guide, Will, was punctual and informative. Our family had a great time and appreciate the small gestures. There was no pressure to buy anything at any of the places we went to.
my tour guide is Tham , she is very concern and very friendly, I book with SST travel. they pick u up within the location. but my location was not in the system but still i stay at district 1. but still they picked me up from my hotel. I took their tour 3 time and going to take again because I stay in Vietnam for 1 month, I enjoyed going tour with them because not many people and they are very attentive and very concerned for their groups. it’s better small group than large group. if you are looking for small group and pay for large numbers of pax, this is the one. I took the large group, but get small group treatment. 😝😝😝it’s worth taking their tour!
We really enjoyed this tour which we choose mainly for the rice paper making. Originally booked as a small group but as no one else booked it, it turned into a private tour. we were well looked after by Sam and all our hosts. got to try making rice paper, snake wine, banana wine, coconut candy, puffed rice and see how these were all made. Delicious lunch which catered to me not eating fish or seafood. Toilets were clean and available in a regular basis. Drinks also readily available. The other unexpected bonus of a private tour was time - we were back in HCMC in time to visit a market before dinner. Would absolutely recommend.
This tour was amazing, well worth the drive to get out here! our guide Andy was knowledgeable and thoughtful. We enjoyed each stop and did not find that the community members were forceful in any way to expect us to buy their products. We chose to support each small business and the money we spent was well worth the time they spent to engage with us! I would recommend doing this trip towards the end of your trip, the car drive and boat cruises are quite relaxing after a few days in the busy city.
Thanks to our guide Min, it was a very enjoyable tour! He was a very polite and kind man. We participated as a group of three, my mother and two children, but he took good care of our three-year-old child and carried our heavy luggage, so we were able to enjoy the tour comfortably and safely! The tour was also very fun, as we got to ride both a large ship and a small boat. It was a great experience to sample the local specialty products and medicinal liquor, and see the food production household. This is a tour I would recommend to everyone!
This Mekong trip has broadened my knowledge about Vietnam, taking us along the Mekong River and introducing us to the unique traditions of the Mekong Delta. The tour guide was friendly and highly professional, making this trip incredibly enjoyable. I highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting to experience the Mekong Delta.
This was a fantastic tour with guide Tibiet who was very friendly, informative and happy to help in any way he could. He spoke good English. I booked a big group tour as I am a solo traveller and liked to join with groups, however there were no other bookings for that day so I went in a private car. Initially I was a bit gutted but Tibiet was a great guide who made the experience fun. We took two boats, the first one was to transport us to the island, it was a great experience. Then the paddle boat ride was fantastic, it was a good amount of time, the lunch was delicious and there was a lot of food! We stopped off to see a historic house, had a walk around, we also saw demonstrations on how some locals made use of the mineral rich land. There wasnt too much pressure to buy things. After lunch we did a bike loop of the island, and then headed back to the mainland on the river boat and I was given a fresh coconut, which was a nice touch. The car trip back seemed shorter. Overall great value for money and a good day out of the city
The tour guide was the best. Binh took great care of us, he is very knowledgeable, thoughtful and very friendly to us all. The food and activities were also one of a Kind. We're very happy to have booked this tour on our first day. Best decision ever. The tour was also of great value and the driver was as kind.
Experienced tour guide Tom made contact prior to the day and made sure we knew the meeting point as we were not in D1. Tom, you are a bubbly and enthusiastic guide who made sure all the members of our group were well looked after. Tom’s photo skills are 100%. Most exciting was the bike ride after lunch around the local area. It was ideal as the lunch cooked by the locals was homely cooking and so delicious especially the l fried fish fresh rolls. Thank you for this tour! See you again next time!
