From Ninh Binh: Cuc Phuong National Park & Van Long Small Group

One of the best experiences Ninh Binh has to offer! The tour runs from 9am to 5pm, and includes multiple hikes around beautiful locations, beautiful landmarks such as the prehistoric cave, entry into the conservation site, and a scenic river boat ride. The national park was beautiful to visit and there were so many butterflies in all locations that we hiked. The prehistoric cave was daring, scary, but very beautiful. We had the opportunity to go inside and explore and even go up to the 2nd level of the cave. We enjoyed a lovely lunch and hiked to a gorgeous reserve with a scenic pool and lots of butterflies. On the way we saw lots of wildlife, critters and flora which were spectacular. Our guide, Binh, was very energetic and kind. He was very informative and pointed out lots of critters while we hiked. He is very experienced and a great guide. Would definitely recommend booking this tour as it was an inclusive and amazing experience, with a great service.

Great day at cuc phuong national park. primate rescue centre was excellent, loved the walk in the forest, lunch was great & boat trip at van long reserve was so peaceful & beautiful views. The guide was so knowledgable and friendly. Great trip.

The trip was well organised, we were contacted day before to arrange a pick up and got all the details needed. Our guide Mr.Bin was a funny guy who did a good job explaining what we saw in the forest and telling us about Vietnamese culture and traditions. Overall great experience.

Binh is a really cool guide. We stayed in Ninh Binh and they picked us up from our stay. Drove us to Van Long nature reserve for a boat ride of around an hour. Then we went to the national park with endangered primate guided tour, turtle tour, lunch, and then a walk in the forest. I like Binh as our guide, humorous, great hospitality, friendly in a way that is not too intruding. He treats us just like his own family, taking good care of us.

pick up in our hotel in Trang An countryside was on time. the tour was great we got to see a lot of insects and trees. it was butterfly season. our guide was sometimes talking but the whole group were not there so we missed some part of his explanation. the schedule is not exactly set up (we didn'tknow what was the schedule of the day) .. we started with van long boat and then went for cuc phuong. we got lucky to see monkeys in van long !

We are a Korean couple, in our early 70s and late 60s, who participated in the Cuc Phuong National Park small group day tour departing from Ninh Binh on May 7th. We were particularly satisfied with the itinerary, lunch, and especially the guidance of our tour guide, Mr. Davidson. We are grateful for Mr. Davidson's sincere handling of a small incident that occurred due to my carelessness, despite his repeated warnings and checks. My wife specifically asked me to convey her thanks.

The trip was reaaaally cool! We saw so much and the jungle hike was awesome! The tour guide was super friendly and put a lot of effort into explaining everything 😊 I would do it again tomorrow and can recommend it to everyone. However, you should really take sturdy shoes and be good on your feet. Sometimes it goes up and down and over hill and dale. There is always the possibility to go to the toilet. The group was small and very pleasant.

Hoa (Tour guide) and Harry (Tour Operator) were both extremely amazing and we had a great time. My parents loved this tour! They mentioned Hoa was very helpful and highly recommended it.
