Start at Tam Coc Museum to learn about Vietnam’s rice-growing heritage, explore traditional farming tools, and try rice pounding and sifting using age-old methods. Choose between making a straw broom with local artisans or preparing a traditional Vietnamese cake. Continue to Buffalo Cave to meet and feed water buffalo, enjoy a gentle buffalo ride, plant rice in muddy fields, and try fishing and feeding ducks. End with a relaxing walk through bamboo forests and a natural limestone cave.

Do not book this tour. It felt like a complete scam. There is absolutely no reason to pay for this activity. You can visit both the museum and Buffalo Cave on your own without booking the tour. The entrance fees together cost less than €5 per person, yet we were charged €35 per person. The experience did not include what was advertised, there was almost no guidance, and we were simply told to walk around by ourselves. We paid seven times the actual entrance cost for nothing of value. The museum and Buffalo Cave are definitely worth visiting, but do not book them through this tour at this price. Just go on your own, pay the entrance fee directly, and you’ll have the same experience while saving a lot of money. Save your money and avoid this tour. It was one of the most disappointing experiences of our trip.
