Reviews summaryDepart on time even on rainy day. The driver driving skill is good and safe. We need to take off shoes before boarding the bus to maintain the cleanliness of the bus. if you’re above 175m heights, you may have difficulty in stretching your legs and sleep straight. Slippers are also provided during toilet breaks. I lost count on the numbers of stop as we fall asleep. We reach Sapa at 6am, exact timing as per written in itinerary. Btw you need pay 3,000 dong cash for toilet usage along the journey, make sure you have the small change with you. We also manage to get our supper, instant noodle within the 30 mins break, 20 dong for small bottle of water & 50 dong for instant noodles, slightly pricey then the usual convenience store
Had a great experience riding the sleeper bus from Hanoi to Sapa. The bus was clean, modern, and the sleeper seats were comfortable enough for the trip. Departure and arrival were generally on time, and the booking/check-in process was smooth. Staff were helpful despite the language barrier. The ride itself was mostly comfortable, although some parts of the road were a bit bumpy which is expected on the route to Sapa. Overall, a convenient and good value option for traveling between Hanoi and Sapa. Would recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable overnight/day transfer.
Very good experience overall! The sleeper bus was clean and comfortable, with enough space to rest during the trip from Hanoi to Sapa. Boarding was organized and staff assisted passengers properly. The ride was smooth most of the time and we arrived without issues. Not luxury level, but definitely exceeded expectations for the price. Would ride again!
This isn't your standard sleeper bus; it's a VIP cabin experience, and it truly makes all the difference for the roughly 6 to 7-hour trip. The biggest emotional win is the privacy. Each passenger gets their own little capsule, complete with a drawn curtain. You immediately remove your shoes (they give you a bag for them!) and settle into a space with a blanket, a pillow, and total control over your light and entertainment. The reclining bed are comfortable and upholstered in leather. I could stretch out fully and managed a decent night's sleep. (Note: Taller passengers over 6’0 might find the length a little snug.) With your own private TV screen (though I didn't use it) and dedicated USB/Type-C charging ports meant I woke up with a fully charged phone, ready to snap photos of Sapa’s famous rice terraces. Comes with complimentary bottle of water and wet wipes.
The HK Busline support has messaged me through WA on the day of our booked travel. The driver called me when he reached the airport. the sleeper bus was on time. need to remove shoes before going inside the bus, the driver will give you a plastic bag for your shoes. we took the lower cabin. they have free water and wet wipe. there’s a tv with headphone if you want to watch. the seat/bed also has massgae function but too loud, as it was a late night travel, we opted not to use the massage as it’s noisy and would be bothersome to the other passengers 😅 Left Hanoi Intl Airport around 10pm and reached Sapa before 6am. they have a free shuttle to our Sapa hotel which is convenient. This is recommended way to travel from Hanoi Intl Airport to Sapa. Btw, the last pic I took for reference for those travelling and would like to recline/upright your seat-pull it. It took me a while to figure it out so sharing here and hope it helps future fellow pasengers.
Here’s a revised version: It was great booking their service. My original bus broke down the day before my trip, so they emailed me, rescheduled the departure time, and gave me a 50,000 VND refund. Since I had booked a lower berth, but only an upper berth was available for the new booking. When I arrived in Sapa, they arranged a transfer to my hotel. Everything ran smoothly.
Had an excellent trip from Hanoi to Sapa. the bus is very spacious and have everything you need. the bus driver is very friendly. they give you two rest stops for food during the trip, each 30mins. the bus is equipped with washroom on board. upon arrival to Sapa, the company also give you a free ride to your Hotel.
Sapa to Hanoi journey by HK Sleeper Bus was comfortable. Choosing upper birth was better option during this long journey. Pick up & drop off servies by vans from-to Hotels were punctual & well communicated over WhatsApp.
I recommend HK buslines if you want to laydown and sleep during the whole trip. The driver don’t speak english so use a translation app for smoother transaction. I don’t recommend this if you are 5’7 and up because of the leg room. It’s a compact size so it’s hard to move around. Overall it’s a good experience!
we had our girl trip and choose sleeper bus to Sapa instead of train. spacious space and comfortable. i got a good rest and sleep overnight after hectic day tour in Hanoi. arrived in Sapa around 4am before they wake we up at 5am and arranged private transfer to our hotel. it was a great experience and i would definitely repeat again with family.
