Akoya Pearl Harvesting Experience (Osaka)

went and did this experience with my boyfriend and his sister. Very nice staff and is equip to help us in our language. She informed us on each step and I loved how she took pictures during the process. truly a one of a kind experience! I would go again. I got a pink pearl and they got white pearls.

I like accessories and experiencing akoya pearls is not common, so I wanted to try it! It was also nice to be able to dig for pearls and make my own accessories. I wanted a ring, so I made it into a ring, and it was neat and pretty. I think it will be a meaningful ring! I think it would be great as a gift or as a couple with a friend. I took a video of the class, and watching it again was fun and created another precious memory. When I removed it, I made the ring gold because the pearls had a golden glow, and I liked it. The owner was pretty, kind, and nice~! The poodle puppy was so cute and there were a lot of pretty clothes in the store :) Everyone, give it a try and have a meaningful time and make meaningful accessories. I recommend it♡

Store manager(Ms.) is pretty nice and meticulous， and I was surprised in the end cause she gave me wonderful memories and a souvenir picture. Thank you so much❤️

Amazing experience! Super fun and the staff were very friendly and they can speak a bit of English. We ended up doing an upgrade in making our pearls into earrings and necklaces as gifts for family. I would definitely recommend this experience to people who are coming to Osaka! I'll attach some of the jewelry options they offered!

This was such a fun experience! I have done something similar before but this was more hands on since you got to extract it yourself and help drill the hole in the pearl also. There was a variety of options to be able to set them in, I ended up making a necklace (for additional charge). They do have English slides available that tell you how to everything, but my friend I was with also spoke Japanese which was helpful. The women at the shop are so sweet :)

We had a great time with the pearl harvest and ring-making activity. Harvesting our own pearl and turning it into a beautiful ring was such a unique experience. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had a fantastic experience, learning what we could about the pearl oysters, their growth cycle, and even how to gauge the quality of pearls. The instructor was knowledgeable and patient.
