San Francisco Muir Woods & Alcatraz Full-Day Guided Tour

The trip was absolutely worth it. Entry to Alcatraz is done via QR code only. The tour includes a stop beneath the Golden Gate Bridge, which is perfect for photos. The schedule was well planned, with just the right amount of time at each stop. Muir Woods was truly magnificent.

this is a great tour to book to knock over all the main sights for san Fran. you stop at a fab little backdrop for the GG bridge at the beginning. highly recommend this for families or anyone really.

The guide (German bloke) was great and really informative. Muir Woods was closed due to federal shutdown which was disappointing but nothing we could do. Got an email that we were going to go to areas around Mt. Tamalpais. We went to this small park like with long trees, not much to walk around as there was a wedding setup and a kids playground. Bit of a disappointing alternate route, that part was not worth the money. Alcatraz was AMAZING tho, that is a definite MUST SEE!

This is my unforgettable day trip in San Francisco. Having a tight schedule to catch, the 3 in 1 day trip allows me to see the nature, historic and scenic attraction places. I met a good companion from the trip and we enjoyed this trip very much.

This tour was a fun and well-organized way to see Muir Woods, and Sausalito in one day. Our guide was hilarious and informative, making the experience even better. The sights were breathtaking and the overall experience was not bad!

It's a good tour, but they should increase the time spent in Muir Woods. The park is large, but it feels very short.

The guide's kind explanations and the fantastic redwood forest were impressive, and it was a trip I'd like to take with my family again.

I have to say this tour with Roman has been one of the most enjoyable tour I have been in all of my travels and thats really saying a lot since I have been quite busy travelling these past few years. What started to what I thought, was a bad start due to slightly late pick up was just that, a fleeting bad erroneous thought. Roman was really informative.. saying the right things at the right time, even injecting some information trivial to the tourist spots we have visited. He had been so accommodating with our questions and engaged his passengers in free banter. There was this one topic I especially took interest in, about the trees talking to each other and the science behind it, maybe to some it was sort of b.s. but interrestingly, I have also read the same book he sighted as his source of info ! Oh, and Roman was really hilarious! That, I think, is his greatest trait, he kinda keeps his guests entertained, to take away the boredom from a long road trip. He left me in stitches when he made a snipe towards bidens infamous sleep antics stature and also bia marilyn monroe joke re marriage. Will give him a 10 star rating.and a recommendation that he apply as a substitute teacher to where my cousins study. I bet he would be a rockstar!

Muir Woods is worth it, and you can actually go to Alcatraz on your own.
