Reviews
This is an excellent itinerary for those who don't want to spend too much time traveling. The 10 AM meeting time is very convenient, making it perfect for business travelers or those looking for a half-day trip. Our guide, Joe, has extensive experience and shared fascinating anecdotes about San Francisco's history, Muir Woods, and Sausalito along the way. Muir Woods is fantastic, a forest full of positive energy and phytoncides. The trails are very accessible; for those who exercise regularly or enjoy hiking, it's just a leisurely forest walk, also suitable for seniors and children. You have the option to take a ferry back to San Francisco from Sausalito for an additional fee. We highly recommend taking the ferry back, as it offers stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Remember to choose the right side of the deck on the return trip for the best scenery! Upon arrival at the Ferry Building, you'll find a clean and beautiful indoor food court where you can relax and refresh.
Muir Woods is cool and beautiful in the morning. Walking among the giant coastal redwood is amazing, reminding us the beauty of nature. Then, we had a short trip to Sausalito where we had a quick walk around and lunch (on our own). Appreciate the guide who gives us good tips on what to see and where to eat.
Amazingly fresh air at Muir Woods. This tour allows 90mins of exploring the woods with entrance fee included unlike some others with only 30mins and separately paid entrance fee. Tour bus arrives and leaves on time.
The visit was very nice. The weather was very beautiful! We were lucky ! Muir Woods was a very relaxing place. I would have liked to stay longer. I took the tour with the Ferry return. It was very good. Thank you Klook for this good plan! 😃👍🏻
The pick-up place was sus. Had to wait outside/ street. It was cold and raining on that day. A rep takes the attendance and split into 2 tour groups, handed the ferry ticket back to SF. Tour guide was informative. Given sufficient time to tour each place.
Pick up and drop off was at very convinient locations. Guide was really informative and made the ride there fun. Really enjoyed Muir Woods and wouldn’t have been able to get there without joining a tour as there’s no signal there to get out.
Had a great time on this tour! The pick up point near fisherman's wharf was convenient and right opposite a nice little cafe. The tour guide at muir Woods was really fun and was full of fun facts. The woods itself was gorgeous and the drive up is worth it. Sausalito is a quaint little place by the sea, stunning views. I took the ferry transfer back and stayed a bit longer as I had lunch there. Ended up back at Pier 39 around 3pm. Perfect way to spend the afternoon!
it's nice experience overall. the tour guide shared the history along the way, spent an hour and half at muir Wood and an hour at sausilto with a return by either the bus or ferry. we took the opportunity to take the ferry :)
had a great tour to the woods. It's well worth visiting early to avoid the crowds and wonder freely through the paths.
Best hike ever, it was wonderful. Gorgeous big trees, beautiful nature, the creek had plenty of water. It was an amazing experience. Worth trip tour🥰
