About

The Tokyo Tower is a communications and observation tower in the Shiba-koen district of Minato, Tokyo, Japan, built in 1958. At 332.9 meters (1,092 ft), it is the second-tallest structure in Japan. The structure is an Eiffel Tower-inspired lattice tower that is painted white and international orange to comply with air safety regulations. The tower's main sources of income are tourism and antenna leasing. Over 150 million people have visited the tower. FootTown, a four-story building directly under the tower, houses museums, restaurants, and shops. Departing from there, guests can visit two observation decks. The two-story Main Deck (formerly known as the Main Observatory) is at 150 meters (490 ft), while the smaller Top Deck (formerly known as the "Special Observatory") reaches a height of 249.6 meters (819 ft). The names were changed following renovation of the top deck in 2018.[4] The tower is repainted every five years, taking a year to complete the process. In 1961, transmission antennae were added to the tower. They are used for radio and television broadcasting and now broadcast signals for Japanese media outlets such as NHK, TBS, and Fuji TV. The height of the tower was not suitable for Japan's planned terrestrial digital broadcasting planned for July 2011 for the Tokyo area. A taller digital broadcasting tower, known as Tokyo Skytree, was completed on 29 February 2012. Since its completion in 1958, Tokyo Tower has become a prominent landmark in the city, and frequently appears in media set in Tokyo.

Tokyo Tower is one of the must-visit attractions in Tokyo. The tickets are very convenient to use. It is also a good choice to experience the additional method of climbing the stairs to the rooftop.

Located in the urban area of Roppongi, there is a department store downstairs, which is great for shopping and dining. There are many restaurant options, and the transportation is convenient. It is recommended that after eating and shopping, go to the high floor to enjoy the beautiful view of Tokyo Tower and sunset around 17-18 pm. The ticket price is also More CP value than other observation decks in Tokyo

If you like Klook, place an order immediately. Scan the QR code to enter. It is very convenient. Choose to enter in the evening. The night view of Tokyo Tower is well worth a visit.

You can see the Tokyo Tower (be careful if there are exhibition lights indoors, which will cause large reflections on the window glass). There are also some areas that are completely dark, so you can quietly enjoy the night view. There is a shake shack nearby downstairs where you can eat~

I'm planning a trip to Tokyo Tower, but I'm not sure of the date. At klook, you can come to the site and order instantly. It only takes 2 minutes to purchase and exchange. It is very convenient. You are not afraid of buying but don’t have time to come.

We actually enjoyed going to the Tokyo Tower more than Skytree and would recommend it! There is no designated time to go up to the deck, so it's very flexible

Tokyo Tower is really beautiful. This is my second time here. There are different activities and lighting effects in different seasons. It is very cheap with klook discounts. Recommended

10/10 recommend we spent 1.5 hours here on a Sunday evening. Our time slot was for 6pm and we arrived at 5:45. They were taking in people for the 5:30 slot and 6:00 slot. People who were booked for later were asked to wait. You have to walk through the court yard and inside a building before you find the entrance just follow the signs for “digital museum”. Tokyo Tower is nearby too so you can walk there for a quick photo-op!
