Fantastic

They didn't do early check-ins even though it was just for an hour. We had to wait in the lobby even though the check-out for previous guests is 11:00am. The lobby was comfortable though, with lots of chairs and tables, with sockets for charging your gadgets. They also have free coffee, tea, and soup, a vending machine, and free use of the microwave, all within the lobby. The room was spacious and had a fridge, a kettle, hair dryer, and a phone. Besides the A/C there was another appliance for filtering the air. The room was clean, although I can't say the same for the carpet. And when I looked for my stuff under the bed, I saw trash underneath. Probably swept under by the previous guests, or just neglected by the cleaners. The hotel is a few minutes walk to Kyoto Station. Other than that, it was far from the usual spots for touring.
