Really loved their Kyoto branch! The room was spacious enough to move around comfortably, which was a nice change after staying in smaller rooms in Osaka. The location is also very convenient. It’s close to the train station and several bus stops, so getting around Kyoto was easy. There are also plenty of places to eat and explore nearby. One thing I really liked was how quiet the room was. We barely heard anything from the other rooms, so it was easy to rest and sleep comfortably. Overall, really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, comfortable room, and surprisingly quiet. Would definitely stay here again when in Kyoto!

Loved their Kyoto branch! The room was spacious enough to move around comfortably, and the location was really convenient. It’s close to the train station and several bus stops, so getting around Kyoto was easy. Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely consider staying again!

Walking distance from Kyoto Station; Staff were very friendly; Laundry Wash/Dry in the lobby is available: Dryer though might have to run 2x for your clothes to be fully dry. TeamLab is also walking distance which is a must see. Lawson is literally right outside the hotel so that’s a plus if you need a late night snack. PJ’s are provided which was awesome. Room has more space for sure which is nice. They even have a humidifier. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Recommend!

It’s a good choice that we stayed in this place! it’s very near the pick up/drop off point for most of klook tour kyoto activities. the staff are amazing and kind. you can borrow a hair curler for u to use during your trip, no need to bring your dyson. It is beside a lawson! it’s very quiet in the area. We got upgraded to a bigger room! thank you so much!

The location was convenient, and the amenities exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was comfy and the breakfast was good. The price is great and it's safe for solo travelers, but the lobby is a bit small. The room is big enough for one person, but for two, it's a little cramped. Sadly, there's no view from the window, but you do get some light in the morning, which is enough. The Lawson is near the hotel. Avanti Mall has a lot of shops for shopping and you can walk through the underground to Kyoto Station. The room was cozy but a little bit old, but it's okay. I received some good sleep when I stayed.💖

Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kyoto Station Hachijoguchi is a very nice hotel with a strategic location. It is only 3-5 minute walk from Kyoto Station and Kyoto Avanti Mall, and just a few steps away from nearby bus stations. The Wi-Fi is very reliable, the staff are accommodating, and the common restrooms are always clean. Overall, it was a very comfortable and convenient stay in Kyoto.
