It is a long drive from Seoul but it was worth the time. Koreanguide Sam was very patient and accomodating. And him being a photography hobbyist, he took really nice photos of us. He drives safely as well. He patiently gives us enough time to enjoy and not rushed on each stop.

The total experience is very memorable. The staff at the info desk is very helpful and helps you connect to your driver. Ahjussi was on time. courteous and gives me direction on where I wanted to go. Be ready upfront with the photos of your desired location so when they ask you can show it right away. took most of the time lining up for the BTS BUS STOP and its totally okay. Ahjussi sped up so I can still use my remaining 45 mins. Dropped by Dobaekki and experience Soontofu. its a total recommendable experience and a must try!

Amazing day spent at Gangneung! Perfect for BTS fans and people who want to visit a few of the most famous places in Gangneung like two markets ans the the cafe street. Our driver was very good and our guide, Tony, did a great job explaining everything and showing us around. For people with time to spare from their Seoul trip and who would like to cross Gangneung off the bucket list in a day-trip, this would be an ideal tour!

Was able to get the room for a much cheaper price using klook voucher, so really worth it as the room was super big and nice. There's no lake view but it's located just by the lake. The staff there is also very friendly and there is a resting area where there are free can drinks available. Enjoyed my stay and will definitely recommend this place👍 transport access: bus 202 from gangneung station

Great hotel in Gangneung. Views were great and it is conveniently located near the lake and the beach. Note no basic amenities are provided and air conditioning is not available during spring.

Our driver didn’t speak much English but he tried to point out places using Papago. Later, he realized that I could understand some Korean and communicated with me. We ran ahead of time so he offered to stop at an extra destination for cherry blossoms. He also drove through a very nice cherry blossom street twice so we could enjoy the view. He dropped us at the Anmok Coffee street as arranged I asked for a recommendation and the shop he recommended was indeed good! It was Bossanova Roasters. The staff at the tourist information spoke good English and helped to decide if we had enough time to cover the places we chose. Glad that this taxi tour service is still available in this area!

Our tour guide Tony was hospitable, knowledgeable, and kind. My friend who went with me on the tour was coughing and he tried to find medicine for her and gave her packets of cough syrup. Another tour guide Yunjin who was also with us made us rice balls to eat and a savory soup to sip on during the trip. They were attentive to our needs by lending us umbrellas when it was raining and asked the bus driver to drop us off at a bus station near our Airbnb.

The tourist center staff member speaks Chinese and helped me arrange my itinerary. The Terasosa main branch I wanted to visit was quite far, so she suggested going to the branch near Gyeongpo Lake instead. The driver spoke English, enthusiastically introduced attractions, and chatted with me, even helping to take photos. Three hours felt a bit short; if you want to enjoy your coffee at a leisurely pace, you can add more time to your chartered car service. The driver was very clear about the timing and charges. Highly recommended!
