Hotels near Ikebukuro Station

A 5-minute walk to Da Cong JR Station, very convenient, lots of food options nearby, with convenience stores. The hotel opened in 2025, so it's very new.

The front desk staff was proactive and helpful, patient, and provided information about luggage delivery to the airport at a reasonable price. The room was clean with no odor, and the space was sufficient to open two 28-inch and two 20-inch suitcases, making it easy to pack.

The lobby offers free 24-hour drinks and coffee. It's very close to the train station, and there are two supermarkets, two convenience stores, and a small Don Quijote nearby. Being a new hotel, the overall condition is very fresh, and the reception staff are very friendly.

Superb location, about 100 meters from Otsuka Station on the Yamanote Line, a quiet spot in a bustling area. The rooms are also large enough. Free ice and coffee are available downstairs. You can also store your luggage.

The location is very convenient, close to both Ikebukuro Station and Higashi-Ikebukuro Station. However, the customer service is still notoriously poor, and the rooms are small.

Good location. Nice neighborhood. Less 5 minutes walk to Otsuka station (a JR Yamanote line. No need to change train to get to high speed trains). Family Mart, 7 11, Lawson, supermarkets, food (popular onigiri just next door, former Michelin star ramen 10 minutes walk). Clean room. Towels changed daily. Take note there is no wardrobe & headroom for the bunk bed & below it may be too low for taller guests.

Location is the best, very close to Ikebukuro station and shops. Staff is friendly and immediately addresses any concern we had. Get the breakfast option, Denny’s in Japan is amazing. Room size is not good for many luggage, but we managed. Ikebukuro is one of the best districts to stay in Tokyo, and this hotel gives the best access to this amazing district.

The hotel rooms have excellent soundproofing, and the air conditioning is high quality, making it quiet and cool. During the trip, I left Tokyo to stay overnight at a hotel near Mount Fuji, and then returned to this hotel to continue my stay. The hotel customer service responded quickly to emails, allowing me to store my luggage until I returned the next day, which made it easy for me to take a bag and tour Mount Fuji. The hotel staff speaks good English, which is what you'd expect from a four-star hotel.
