Full day tour was a good choice, allowed plenty of free time in-between each stop whether it was the walk to the observatory in Shirakawa-go for the amazing view, trying the rice cake dipped soy to enjoying an extra stroll in kenroku-en gardens (not until after Sakura had already taken us through with a great guided tour) and finishing it all off at higashi chaya district with a hands on gold postcard experience to enjoying a gold leaf ice cream to end the day off perfectly. Everything was smooth and efficient thanks to both our tour guide Sakura and our also amazing bus driver of the day on the 9/03/26. Unforgettable thank you.

Very insightful tour and our English speaking guide Katie and our female driver are very warm and friendly. We started the morning with handcrafted experience at Nousaku- learning the experience to make Tin Sale cup/dishes. Followed by scenic drive down to shirakawago experiencing the Gasso style houses and culture experience. Had a yummy hida beef set for lunch… we finished every grain on your plates. Overall very enjoyable tour except it was a rainy day.

This ticket is a great deal, allowing you to enjoy Kanazawa for a day with free admission to everything. It can also be combined with a one-day bus pass, making it highly recommended.

A great universal pass for the art galleries around kanazawa. Remember for the swimming pool exhibition you need to book separately for a time slot on their official website at 9am.

It’s our first Kimono experience and we were very satisfied. We reserved a session the night before and went there at 10am. The shop is located close to the Kanazawa station, so 10mn by bus to Higashi Chaya district for taking wonderful photos. There were 2 ladies who were nice and gentle, they helped us chosing the kimonos and dressed us. We initially selected the 1-star kimonos on Klook but weren’t interested in the items in the store so we upgraded to the 2-star ones for around 1500 yen. There was not a large selection overall but the items are well-preserved and priced. The preparation for 2 people would take up to around 30-45mn, of course more time spent on the hair dressing for my wife. The weather was quite cold when we were in Kanzawa and we only wore kimonos outside but honestly it was pretty warm and comfy. We returned back the kimonos at 3pm after wandering and taking many photos at Higashi Shaya, Kenroku garden. Overal great experience, we would highly recommend this shop!

Booked a half day tour and the Shirakawago tour was great. Cesar is out guide and he is very informative all through out the tour which is a plus for my family. His english is clear and we love how he explains the history about shirakawago. The tour is also family friendly. I have a 4 yr old kid with stroller.
