From 7am to 6pm, thanks to our cheerful guide Eddie, it was so fun and not boring. From the introduction of the landmarks and history we passed by, to the exciting music when we arrived at the spot, to the sense of selecting relaxing music while the travelers were resting, to the professional force in the desert, to taking great photos and videos, and to giving us many tips so that we could move efficiently without wasting time, we were really full and had fun. He took good care of families with children and solo travelers, and answered all our questions about life and photo requests. Thank you for the quiz event, Sydney travel tips, and gifts!! I will add some of my personal thoughts. 1) The coffee at the restaurant/store at the dolphin cruise dock is good. 2) On the dolphin cruise, the dolphins come very close, right under the cruise. I recommend that you do not go up to the second floor, but hold on to the railing at the front of the deck and watch. 3) On windy days, even if the sun is warm, it is cold on the cruise. Bring a windbreaker. (As of early April) 4) If you have long hair, it would be good to bring a comb because it will be messy after being exposed to the wind on the cruise. 5) Sandboarding is not a board you stand on, but a sled you sit on. They tell you to prepare sandals or slippers, but I recommend just taking off your shoes and playing. The sand is fine, so it doesn't hurt and it's not too hot. (As of early April) 6) You'll be in the desert for about an hour, so you'll feel it getting hot in real time, so you'll definitely need to apply sunblock. However, there will be a lot of sand on your face and arms, so it would be better to spray it on rather than applying it like a cream or stick. 7) Don't worry about the photos because the guide takes them so well. It's a matter of personal preference, but I think it looks good to wear slim clothes for both men and women. 8) You can eat sand. People don't just eat sand, they eat phones and bags, so if you start shaking it off, it will come out endlessly. Be prepared. 9) They say it's good to prepare a towel to shake off or wipe the sand. I forgot, but it didn't really matter. 10) You can meet koalas and kangaroos very close at the zoo. You can't hug them, but they feed them and take pictures without any additional fees. 11) Oakvale is not very big, but if you want to walk around every corner, don't sprinkle too much food on the herbivores at the beginning. 12) The lawn is also the animals' toilet. Look carefully and be careful with sandals or slippers.

I used the Australia Pass to book two activities, saving 30% compared to purchasing them individually. It's incredibly convenient! The itinerary was packed with fun; I got to see adorable koalas at the Koala Sanctuary, enjoyed a classic fish and chips lunch, and spotted dolphins on the boat tour – a truly satisfying experience. Anna Bay boasts breathtaking scenery, and sandboarding was an absolute thrill. Highly recommended!

This tour is truly the best value for money, and I didn't regret spending any money or time on it. If you come to Sydney, I highly recommend it 🥰 ⭐️Course: Dolphin Tour -> Lunch (Bibimbap) -> Desert Sliding Board -> Featherdale Wildlife Park!! ⭐️Guide: They are very friendly and take care of everyone without being intrusive. The Korean-tailored guide is the best. 🐬Dolphin Tour: I was so happy as soon as I saw the dolphins 🥺 🍚Lunch: Bibimbap is so delicious…. 🏜️Desert Boarding: The desert is really huge and vast. The board is so exciting and fun that I wanted to ride it 5 times, but I only rode it twice!!! 🐨🦘Wildlife Park: I've been to other zoos, but there was no place where I could interact with koalas and kangaroos like this. Here, I was able to feed the animals and touch their butts? for over an hour, so it was a very, very happy tour. I came with my family, and all 4 out of 4 people gave it a perfect score of 5 out of 5! If you want to see nature during one of your travel days, I highly recommend this tour!

Newcastle is quite far from Sydney, so we need to gather at 7:30 AM to depart. We'll stop at the first beach for about an hour. Sandboarding is an optional activity and not included in the tour price. After that, we'll have lunch at a fast-food restaurant next to the dolphin watching pier; it's okay. Dolphin watching is on a boat for an hour and a half, but you really only see dolphins for a brief moment; the rest of the time is spent searching, searching, searching. I feel like dolphin watching wasn't worth it. Finally, there's a mandatory 5 AUD service tip to give to the driver. The driver is Chinese and has WeChat. If you don't have AUD in change, you can directly transfer RMB via WeChat at the current exchange rate.

Yesterday
Today, I went on a tour with our young guide! I had hastily booked a tour yesterday after hearing the weather might be bad, but that reservation was canceled. I then found a similar tour, and I think it was even better that I ended up on this one! We had already visited Featherdale Wildlife Park, so I didn't have high expectations for Oakvale Wildlife Park. However, even my parents, who aren't big animal lovers, enjoyed feeding the animals themselves, seeing koalas up close, feeding goats, and even milking a cow. We made the most of our short time at the zoo! Afterward, we went to a winery for a tasting, and I even bought a bottle of Moscato because it was so sweet. Then, we went on a dolphin cruise and saw dolphins! (Though I wasn't quick enough with my camera to get good pictures, unfortunately.) Finally, we had a fantastic time sandboarding! Thank you so much!

The kids were excited about coming on a long trip… They took a picture of the dolphin watching spot right in front of them, and I saw dolphins swimming properly. I had never ridden a fine sand sled before… The Port Stephens kids, who said it was like the Uyuni Desert, had a hard time going up, but they slid down a few sides. They saw and touched the kangaroos and koalas they had only seen in photo albums and paintings with their own eyes… and even fed them… They were amazed, saying they were seeing things like this in person. Thank you to our Juno guide, who made sure we saw and played well throughout the tour.

There were plenty of dolphins to see, but it depended on our luck that day, as the cruise staff mentioned. We had fun with all the activities provided, and the guide was super friendly and fluent in both English and Chinese. However, they changed the schedule to visit the koala sanctuary instead of the winery, but it was still enjoyable and great to see the koalas there.

The Port Stephens tour with Director Koo Jeong-yeol exceeded all expectations. His expert guidance filled the travel time, making it anything but boring, and allowed us to thoroughly enjoy every activity, including the dolphin cruise and desert sandboarding. He even used his theater and film background to capture incredible " 인생샷(Pictures for life)" in the desert, creating lasting memories. We also appreciated how meticulously he managed the schedule, allowing us to experience everything comfortably ahead of other groups. His friendly consideration and upbeat attitude throughout the tour made it a truly perfect day.
