With limited tour option from Kushiro, we opted for this private car tour. Once booked, I was invited into a WhatsApp Group chat with the agency to reconfirm my booking and whether we have decided on the route. As first timer in Kushiro, I asked for their guidance but the response was not helpful at all, so we decided not to prolong the conversation and follow the default route. On D-day, the driver was polite, but on the way back, he started driving like he’s in a rush (we’re on time and return few minutes early). The car cleanliness can also be improved by vacuuming and emptying the dirty crumpled tissue. Other than the service, the view was good.

Although it's a 15-minute walk from the station, you can take a bus from the airport and get off near the hotel. It's very close to Nusamai Bridge and the MOO Fisherman's Wharf shopping center, making it convenient for enjoying Robatayaki and beautiful sunset views. The rooms are spacious, and the hot spring and sauna are excellent, with various ice creams and popsicles available after your soak. There are also very comfortable massage chairs that recline 180 degrees for a full-body massage!

This hotel is located near Nusamai Bridge, and the rooms have been renovated, making them very new and modern. To access the hot spring, you need to go from the 12th floor to the old wing and then take an elevator down. After midnight, there are no staff members available. I went for a soak after midnight; first, I put my shoes in the shoe locker, then took the elevator to the 9th-floor women's bathhouse. However, the bathhouse entrance door is a regular door without an electronic lock, and the shoe-changing area, elevator, and stairs are all mixed-gender. This makes one feel that someone of the opposite sex could enter at any time. Additionally, the bathhouse is open to non-guests during regular hours, which makes the design feel strange. While using it, I felt constantly on edge, worried about someone of the opposite sex entering, which prevented me from truly relaxing.
