It rained the day before participating in the Okinawa glass boat underwater sightseeing tour, and I was worried that I might not be able to see the fish. However, the weather was beautiful, and the sky cleared up on the day of participation. When I arrived at the West Marine counter, there was a sign showing the clarity of the water and the sway of the waves for passengers to refer to. After boarding, passengers can first enjoy the scenery near the shore from the top deck. When the boat reaches a deeper area, the staff will prompt passengers to go to the bottom level to see the fish, and finally, they can go to the middle level to feed the fish. This activity is very suitable for families to participate in together. My package also included a seafood bowl on the Mobydick ship, with several kinds of fresh sashimi to eat as much as you like. Perhaps because it wasn't peak season and there were fewer people that day, enjoying lunch quietly was particularly relaxing.

Location: Mibaru Beach is about a 30-40 minute drive from Naha. I don't know about public transportation because I didn't use it, but if you have a car, it's worth the drive because the water is very clear and there are unique rock formations, making the beach beautiful. Parking is paid (500 yen). Experience: You can take a transparent-bottom boat (about 12-seater) out to sea and observe underwater fish. The experience is short, about 20 minutes, but you can observe a variety of fish closely and clearly at four different points. It feels a bit different than seeing them in an aquarium. I think it's a good alternative if you can't dive. Pictures and names of frequently seen fish are posted on the boat. The captain kindly explains at the observation points, but only in Japanese. Safety: Personal safety equipment such as life jackets are not provided separately, but the boat has a roof and you can only ride sitting down, so it is not very dangerous.

Easy to redeem at the centre. Look for gorilla booth or show the klook ticket to any booth and staf are nice enough point you to the right one. timing can be different from what was selected as staff gave us the next earliest timing when we arrived. nice and fun experience that would love to do again.

The boat barbecue is a cool idea, beautiful sunset, not much food, the meat wasn't tasty, but overall it's worth going.

The trip with this guide was great. You can tell from the photos. The guide we had on Mangrove Island was also amazing. I don't know her name, but she was a woman... If I hadn't found my Ace Pro that I dropped there, it would have been the worst trip ever, but luckily I found it after some twists and turns. The visibility in the mangrove river isn't great, and the river isn't without currents, so if you drop something, you might not be able to find it. It would be good if the guide brought extra masks, or if individuals brought their own masks.

December isn't the most active time for whales, so seeing them isn't guaranteed every day. We were lucky to see them, but you'll mostly just see the whales fluke, spout, and fins. You can see them much more clearly at an aquarium. It's very cold, windy, and intermittently rainy at sea in winter, and you're out at sea for a long time, so be sure to wear enough clothing. Also, the waves are sometimes quite big, so be sure to take motion sickness medicine.

Our guide, Sebastian, is incredibly kind. He meticulously checked our boot sizes to ensure we were comfortable. Upon arrival, he tirelessly walked with us, providing detailed explanations, so we could see more insects, coconut crabs, and stars! Thanks to Sebastian, I saw my first scorpion. Experience: We decided to explore at night on a whim after arriving in Miyako, so our evening wouldn't be boring. It turned out to be an incredibly amazing experience! We stumbled upon a gathering of coconut crabs on the island and encountered these rare creatures on rocks, in trees, and even on the sidewalks! There were also many other fascinating and wild small animals, cute frogs, hermit crabs, stick insects, and butterflies sleeping at night! The kids had an absolute blast! Location: This is the most crucial part, as it’s difficult to get a taxi at night. This company provides hotel pick-up and drop-off services! This saves a lot of time and energy! Instructor: We had TAKU, who provided patient and detailed explanations in English throughout the tour. His English wasn't too difficult to understand, so feel free to give it a try! He was super patient with the kids! So much so that when I wanted to book a snorkeling trip the next day and found out TAKU was also a guide for that, I immediately booked it! An excellent guide makes the trip easy and enjoyable! TAKU is very conscientious and responsible, and he has a WeChat contact that you can use to reach him and he'll also send you travel photos. After booking, specify in the email that you need to contact them via WeChat. They will contact you later, so don't worry. (Since I booked on the same day, I couldn't log in to WhatsApp, and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to reach them, but Klook's customer service helped me follow up, and they quickly contacted me via WeChat.) Equipment: For the night tour, they provide mosquito repellent and headlamps. You don't need to bring anything except a bottle of water, as you might get thirsty while walking. Shorts and a T-shirt are also fine; there's no danger.
