Writing this review on our way back from such a beautiful tour. We booked this just one day before with my husband, our first time visiting Taiwan and our first travel together as husband and wife. 🤍 Our first stop was the breathtaking Shifen Waterfall, and it truly left us in awe. Next, we explored the charming old street where we finally got to experience releasing a sky lantern, such a magical and unforgettable moment. Lastly, we visited Jiufen, and it definitely gave us those Spirited Away vibes, so surreal and enchanting. Special thanks to our amazing tour guide, Mr. Tony Chin, who was incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating throughout the trip. Even with the light drizzle, we were still able to fully enjoy and appreciate the entire experience because of him. This tour made our first trip to Taiwan extra special. 💛

The queue is fast moving and line is not that long when we visit Maokong Gondola. You just need to pay additional 50ntd if you want to experience Crystal gondola. We booked the same day to make sure that it is operational and we got booking confirmation right away.

The overall park area is not large, but the dinosaur density is high, creating a visually impactful experience. It's an efficient parent-child outing. We recommend allocating approximately 1 to 1.5 hours for a complete experience. 1. Entry Mechanism Instructions Arriving before 9:30 AM generally avoids the need to queue, as the staff doesn't bring out the QR code until 9:30 AM. The process involves scanning the QR code to get a number, with entry starting at 10:00 AM in sequential order based on the numbers called. It is recommended to purchase tickets on Klook in advance, as it's usually more cost-effective than buying on-site and reduces the risk of queuing. 2. The Truth About Free Plush Toys The sales area has a sign indicating that the lion dance plush toy is "only for gifting, not for sale." It's actually part of a vacuum cleaner promotion. If you don't have a need for a home cleaning upgrade, it's recommended to politely decline and leave to avoid disrupting your itinerary. 3. Key Points About the Token System Feeding the dinosaurs, riding the dinosaurs, and the inflatable playground all require tokens. The inflatable playground sessions are 25 minutes each, and socks are required for entry. You will not be able to participate without socks. It is recommended to purchase enough tokens at once to avoid wasting time going back and forth to replenish them. 4. Parking and Basic Facilities Navigating to the Guandu Riverside Nature Park surface parking lot is the most convenient option. It costs NT$50 per entry on weekdays and NT$30 per hour on weekends/holidays. There are no restrooms or food/drinks allowed inside the exhibition area. Portable toilets are available at the entrance. A hand stamp is required for re-entry. 5. Replenishment Recommendations The container market at the entrance has a nice view, but the prices are relatively high. If you only need to replenish water, the vending machines next to it are a more economical option. Overall Assessment The park area is not large, but the dinosaur installations are concentrated, making for great photo opportunities and providing ample physical activity for children. It's a parent-child outing that is short on time but significant in impact. Mastering the four key aspects of arriving early, scanning the QR code first, preparing tokens, and having socks ready will make the overall experience smoother. Suitable for bringing children to burn off energy on weekends, and also suitable for families looking to quickly complete a parent-child activity.

One of the highlights of my trip! I got to see the adorable little penguins and ride the cable car, which was such a fun experience. The place is quite big, so it’s best to set aside a whole day to explore all the areas. The animals looked well cared for, and the staff were all kind and welcoming. I’ll definitely visit again when I come back!

Even though there were a lof of visitors, the staff and crew were still very friendly and managed the whole crowd that there were limited views of Taipei because it was foggy. Still very nice to experience to go up to 89F within seconds. Amazing technology!

it was a great experience. for the price paid, it is definitely worth it. the only issue is the child has to be of minimally 90cm to ride on some of the rides. I will definitely come again. there are lockers and shower facilities.

I can't describe how much I like and look forward to Mika Ninagawa's exhibition. It's not just because of the visual effects of the photos, but really, after walking in, that moment, my heart skips a beat. She's not using the pictures to speak, she's directly pouring emotions into your eyes. At that moment, I felt like little elves were jumping in my eyes. It's a state where the vision is awakened and the senses come alive.

We used the Korean audio guide at the National Palace Museum, and I think other languages would be the same way, entering numbers... but there were many things without numbers, and the famous Dongpo pork wasn't there. The cabbage was on display, but there was no number written on it, but my daughter accidentally pressed 333 and the explanation came on, haha. If you just walk by without an explanation, you wouldn't know what it is, so we used the audio guide, but it wasn't very helpful and it was hard to concentrate. It would be more convenient and faster to look at it with a translator.

The Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Special Exhibition is a captivating experience. The artwork and immersive displays beautifully showcase the series' themes, leaving fans inspired and eager for more. Highly recommend!
