We booked our rail bike tickets on Klook in advance, which not only saved time but also gave us peace of mind. After arriving at the activity entrance, we simply presented the QR code provided by Klook at the ticket window to exchange for paper tickets, and we were able to ride easily. How lucky! We booked the 12:00 PM session that day, and we arrived early at 11:00 AM by taking the KTX train from Seoul. The ticket staff saw that there were still vacancies at the time, so they let us enter an hour early.
The rail bikes are suitable for tourists of all ages, and pedaling is not strenuous. Along the way, we passed through four tunnels with different themes, and the scenery was beautiful. We were able to enjoy the scenery of the mountains and rivers, as well as catch a glimpse of the rural life in Korea. This trip was relaxing and full of surprises, definitely worth a visit!

The Gapyeong Rail Bike experience was so much fun! We were the first ones there and even arrived before the staff, but everything went smoothly once they arrived—we just showed our QR code and were good to go. The process was very easy and organized.
One tip: don’t come unprepared, especially in winter. Make sure to wear thick clothing and cover your face because it gets extremely cold, and the wind is strong while riding the bike. The day we went was exceptionally cold in Gapyeong, but despite the weather, the experience was still enjoyable and memorable.

One day prior, there was a reminder sent to my WhatsApp. On tour day, the tour guide we were assigned to (Laura) was amazing! She speaks fluent English, punctual, reminded us to stay safe and have fun! The day trip is worth it.

We are actually booked to Jishan Ski Resort but was transferred to Elyshian Resort. They accommodated us same as Jishan but my advise for first timers that is not really into sports/ski that this is a bit difficult. But if you are adventurous, then go for it. Our tour guide Patrick have explained it properly though and have answered all our queries.

I booked just one day ahead, and they still confirmed my booking right away! This is definitely one of the best paragliding experiences in Korea. The team was very friendly and accommodating. The pictures and videos turned out great too! They pick you up at Asin Station, and it’s easy to get there from Seoul by train or subway. After the paraglide, they also drive you back to the station, so everything’s smooth and hassle free. A must try experience. I’ll definitely recommend it to my friends and siblings!

Lina was our guide for the day ski trip. fabulous lady to make the day trip for my family a pleasant one. the mountain itself we only ski at the bottom as its the first time the children tried skiing. good cover of snow on the mountain.
