Reviews
Reviews summaryCindy is an amazing guide and she is really knowledgable and caring. The tour was so interesting and informative as we went to the beautiful majang lake, the 3rd tunnel of aggression and the observatory. Interesting experience as we were able to see North Korea upclose at the observatory and observed the citizens. This tour is definitely a must-go, especially for those who are interested in the history of korea and the North-South relations.
I travel a lot and always struggle to find authentic guided tours which are often radiating in forced niceness-but this tour was different. In my 106 countries of experience, I've never met a group tour guide quite like Julie. Often as a solo traveler I get ignored by the guide, but Julie had my name memorized by the time we we reached the second stop. She didn't lecture, she delivered information in a way that was easy to follow and genuinely interesting. Not only about the DMZ and North Korea but also skincare, ginseng, whiskey, etc. There was not a single question asked that she could not give a detailed answer to, and that's to be commended. The atmosphere she created as well was playful and welcoming, but not in the fake sense you sometimes get - she actually means it. The UN controls what we can and can't do, so while no pictures at most of the stops was frustrating, every tour to the DMZ is operating under the same rules. The difference between sufficient and fantastic is Julie.
8 years from my last visit there are changes and new developments. Even they restricted some areas, no videos and pictures. The 2026 experience and memories are different and much more detailed. With Charles the tour are more efficient and well managed. Will definitely avail again and looking forward the Boat will be available. kuddos to the Team and best of luck to more adventures with Klook.
Today's day trip was truly amazing and interesting. Charles, our tour guide, made learning about the history and culture of the area easy and enjoyable. His passion for his country and its people was evident throughout the tour, and I appreciate the wonderful experience he provided.
PLK travel: our guide was Jay. She is amazing! I highly recommend this tour! it was easy peasy with no worries and Jay makes it that way. She is patient and will answer any questions. She’s also hilarious and has amazing skin lol (ask her for her skincare routine!!). She’s awesome! The tour was fascinating and I learned so much! However, be aware it’s a lot of steps and steep climbing…but worth it! I have bad knees and legs but I was able too, so can you!! book today!!!
This trip is definitely worth it when visiting seoul. Our PLK guide Dennis was super fun and informative the whole day. The bridge was absolutely gorgeous and the following areas related to the DMZ were so interesting. Dennis tailored our day to the minute and made the experience easy to follow and understand. If you’re a solo traveller don’t worry! It’s super solo friendly plus you’ll likely end up chatting to others on the trip. 10/10 would recommend!
We had a great experience on our DMZ tour today! From Gamaksan Suspension Bridge to the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel and Dora Observatory, every stop was interesting and memorable. Learning more about Korean history while visiting these places made the trip even more meaningful. Special thanks to our tour guide Charles for being friendly, organized, and informative throughout the whole day. He explained everything clearly, kept the tour running smoothly, and made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the experience. The tour never felt rushed, and we really appreciated his positive energy and helpfulness. Definitely one of the most unforgettable tours we had in Korea. Highly recommended!
It was a very amazing experience. I’ve learned a lot from this tour, of course with the help of our energetic tour guide Jin of PLK Travel. She is very knowledgeable, fun guide and made sure everyone is comfortable for the entire tour. The tour is worth the money, I got to know more about the history of North and South Korea.
This is my 3rd time in Seoul but first time that I was able to do DMZ. We were told the day before the trip that we had to reschedule to meet at 5am on May 3rd because DMZ has a limited that day and it was the golden week. We were tires when finding out it was rainy day. But we were met by a lovely sweet guide Heather, who was encouraging and nice. The rain stopped when we finished Imjingak Park at 9am and it turned out to be one of the best highlights this trip. The tunnel, the red suspension bridge in the mountain, the Dora obsertory where you see North Korea. What a trip
This was a wonderful and very informative tour. Our tour guide was Cindy and she did a wonderful job at explaining the history behind all of the places we visited and the significance of them. I really enjoyed the history and all the places we went to. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
