Things to do in Tottori

It's definitely worth going; everyone should try it at least once, especially the sand dunes and Uradome Coast.

First of all, thank you to our tour leader, Hua Hua, and our bus driver for this wonderful trip to Tottori! The bus was comfortable, spacious, and air-conditioned, making the journey very pleasant. Hua Hua explained everything clearly in both English and Chinese, so everyone could follow along. We had a short restroom break on the way there and back. At the dunes, we had about 3 hours of free time. The scenery was breathtaking, but bring an umbrella because there is almost no shade! The museum was amazing, and since the theme changes every year, it’s always worth visiting. My favorite part was picking and eating fresh pears—they were delicious! The atmosphere was so friendly and relaxing. Hua Hua ended the trip with kind words and even sang for us. Thank you for making this an unforgettable experience. I hope your dreams come true!

The JR Kansai Wide Area Pass for five days is very convenient. You can even take the Shinkansen from Osaka to Okayama. It's even more cost-effective when paired with local sightseeing passes. This time, I chose discounts for three facilities in Tottori. The Sand Dune Museum is a must-visit attraction, and the scenery along the Uradome Coast by boat is beautiful (though it was cloudy that day, so the water wasn't as vibrant). For my last stop, I dined at Kan-ichi in Kami Town. The food was surprisingly delicious, and the prices were reasonable with a great atmosphere. Even on a weekday, there were many customers, so a bit of a wait was necessary.

Beatiful experience. Staff was very kind and with a good english. They also made us jump 4 times, which was very fun.
