Tohoku

Located just north of Tokyo, Tohoku boasts of vast landscapes, picturesque snow-capped mountains, relaxing hot springs, and historic ancient castles. The region is made up of six prefectures, namely Aomori, Akita, Fukushima, Iwate, Miyagi and Yamagata.
