it was easy to find the bus that would take us to Nagasaki. The time to go around Huis Ten Bosch was more than enough. The place was this incredibly beautiful and I loved how it mimicked Europe. There are multiple options for food, rides, and more. I had a fun time going on a date here. My partner had so much fun too.

The guide was on time and easy to talk to. We encountered an unforeseen closure or unavailability of an activity in my itinerary, he was helpful to suggest an alternative nearby. And was patient to wait for us to be done at each place.

I booked my visit to Huis Ten Bosch through Klook, and it felt like stepping into a European fairytale in the middle of Japan. The park’s Dutch-inspired architecture, canals, and flower gardens create a unique atmosphere that’s both relaxing and visually stunning. I visited during the day and stayed until evening, which I highly recommend. The nighttime illuminations transformed the entire park into a glowing wonderland — easily one of the most beautiful light displays I’ve seen. There were also cultural shows, scenic boat rides, and plenty of photo spots at every corner. Food options were varied, and the park was easy to navigate thanks to clear signage and helpful staff. Booking via Klook made entry smooth and hassle-free. If you’re traveling in Kyushu and want something different from temples and nature spots, Huis Ten Bosch offers a magical and memorable experience worth visiting.

Experience: I recommend setting aside some time to first visit the Battleship Island Digital Museum to carefully read about the history of Battleship Island. There is a lot of information, which is very helpful for understanding Battleship Island. The weather was nice on the day of boarding, but the waves in the center of the sea were still very big. We finally managed to land on the island. Although we could only visit a small part, it was a truly special travel experience. Thank you to the tour guide for the explanation and the assistant for the help.

i got goosebumps the whole time i was in the museum. it was a good reminder and understanding of what happened with the Nagasaki.

One of the highlights of our cruise. If you are on a Cruise yourself "do not do it through the ship ". Book the first sailing (10.00) and catch a local bus (30 mins)or taxi (10 mins). We had about 50-100 people on this sailing and you were able to move around , pick a seat, take photos from different positions..Terrific. On our return the queue for the ship with the organised tour was horrendous. we watched them keep loading people on and on. Must have bern over 200-300 people.Which ever position they got on the ship, that was it. Packed in like sardines. It must have been horrendous.

Booking the tickets on Klook was very fuss free and instant. I got the confirmation immediately and just followed the instructions to gain access to the gardens. Price was also comparable to the existing admission tickets on site. Garden was very nice and quaint overall had a great time.
